Funeral services for Bobby Joe CHANDLER, 66, of Muldrow, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow, with Revs. Kendall Ross, Dale Doss and Bill Carter officiating. Burial was in Gans Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. CHANDLER was born January 23, 1935 in Redland community, to Henry CHANDLER and Thelma (LOLLIS) CHANDLER. He died Friday, July 27, 2001. Mr. CHANDLER married Faye EDWARDS on October 15, 1955, in Poteau. Survivors include his wife, Faye CHANDLER of the home; two daughters and one son-in-law, Tammie and Danny and Kim; one grandson; one sister, Flossie; and one brother, L.D.

Funeral services for Chester "Check" EDWARDS, 87, of Gore, were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2001, at the Gore First United Methodist Church, with Revs. Bill Buttram and Mark Howard officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. EDWARDS was born December 31, 1913 in Pottsville, Ark., to Thomas Bruce EDWARDS and May (LONG) EDWARDS. Survivors include his wife, Hattie of the home; one daughter, Johnnie Lou; one son and daughter-in-law, Clayton and Rhonda; six grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen; two brothers, Oscar and Jim. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Billy EDWARDS and four brothers, Carl, Bill, Jack and Earnest EDWARDS.

Funeral services for Marvin "Mendy" MENDENHALL, 77, of Barling, Ark., are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 2, 2001, at the Fentress Chapel, under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith, Ark. Mr. MENDENHALL died on Tuesday, July 31, 2001, at home. Survivors include his wife, Virginia "Maw" MENDENHALL of Barling; one daughter, Pat; two sons, Richard and Marvin Jackie; one sister, Lucille; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Zelma Odell PARKER, 77, of Van Buren, Ark., were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2001, at the Fleetwood Cemetery near Sallisaw, under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith, Ark. She died Sunday, July 22, 2001, in Fort Smith. Survivors include three daughters, Shirley, Loretta K., and Christi; one son, Willard Wiley Jr.; four brothers, Houston, Charlie, Robert and Haskell.

Graveside services for Howard Winford PRATER, 95, of Gore, were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2001, at the White Cemetery northwest of Gore, with Rev. Utah Humphrey, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Gore. Mr. PRATER was born November 24, 1905 in Gore, to Samuel PRATER and Edna (RUDICK) PRATER. He died Friday, July 27, 2001. He married Mildred Kathleen MURPHY in 1939, in Dardanelle, Ark. She preceded him in death on March 30, 1997. Survivors include one sister, Mabel FIELDS of Gore; five grandchildren; and one nephew. Mr. PRATER was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Edna PRATER and three brothers.

Funeral services for Ted E. SANDERS, 76, of Oklahoma City, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2001, at Resurrection Cemetery Chapel, in Oklahoma City, under the direction of Mercer-Adams Funeral Service in Bethany. Mr. SANDERS was born January 8, 1925, in Fanshaw, to Jack and Allyn SANDERS. He died Thursday, July 19, 2001. Survivors include his wife, Maxine V. SANDERS; one daughter and son-in-law, Gayla M. and Lloyd D.; one sister, Mary Nell; one brother, G.W. "Dub"; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, S.W. "Pete" SANDERS.

Funeral services for Richard F. TAYLOR, 77, of Gore, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at the Gore Cemetery, with Dereld David officiating. Burial was in Gore Cemetery, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mr. TAYLOR was born October 17, 1923 in Tulsa, to Richard TAYLOR and Virginia (WINGER) TAYLOR. He died Saturday, July 28, 2001, in Gore. Mr. TAYLOR married Doris BRUMMET in Tulsa in 1955. Survivors include his wife, Doris TAYLOR of the home; two sons, Richard A. and Randy E.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial services for Claude WINKLEPLECK, 92, of Keota, were held 2 p.m. Monday, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Hwy 64 east Sallisaw, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. WINKLEPLECK was born June 2, 1909, in Tamaha, to Seth WINKLEPLECK and Stella (ADKISON) WINKLEPLECK. He died on Saturday, July 28, 2001. Survivors include three daughters, Margie, Vernell and her husband, Joe, and Mildred and her husband Jessie; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one sister, Oma. Mr. WINKLEPLECK was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Gladys (INESS) WINKLEPLECK, one son, Lester Lou Allen WINKLEPLECK, one granddaughter, Joy Lynn SHEPPARD and one brother, Boss WINKLEPLECK.

Private services for Billy G. DARCY, 69, of Temecula, Calif., were held in Sallisaw, under the direction of AARON Cremation and Burial Services of San Bernardinao, Calif. Mr. DARCY was born December 20, 1931, in Savanna, to Curtis and Mae DARCY. He died on Sunday, July 1, 2001, in Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, Calif. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Audrey Rena DARCY; one daughter, Samm Kunce; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Doyle; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy and Ethel and Don and Rita. Mr. DARCY was preceded in death by his parents; and two daughters, Vicky AUGUR in 1985 and Colleen HERINGTON in 1998.

Funeral services for Emily Sharon SCHALSKI, 52, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, at the Putman Funeral Home Chapel, under the direction of Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith. Mrs. SCHALSKI died Wednesday, August 1, 2001, in her home. Survivors include her husband, Doug of Barling, Ark.; one daughter, Mona; one step-daughter, Michelle; one son, John; one step-son Douglas Jr.; four grandchildren; and one sister, Tina.

Funeral services for Leona Ophella WEBB, 93, of Watson, are being held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 4, 2001, at the Hochatown Assembly of God Church, with Bro G.W. Birdsong officiating. Burial will be in Hochatown Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home in Mena, Ark. Mrs. WEBB was born May 2, 1908 in Redland, to Taz Neuman BURROW and Mattie THOMPSON BURROW. She died Wednesday, August 1, 2001, in Oklahoma. She married Daniel Calvin WEBB in August of 1923 in Redland. Survivors include four sons and two daughters-in-law, John Newman, Ralph Nolen and his wife, Alvie O'Neal and his wife Louise and Donald Raye; two daughters and one son-in-law, Wanda Faye and her husband, Ron and Melba Jean; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bertha and Belzada. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, Merlene WEBB, and one sister, Ozella BAKER.

Funeral services for Zelta DAVIS, 81, of Catoosa, were held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2001, at the First Baptist Church in Catoosa, with Rev. Mark Hall officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, under the direction of Kennard Funeral Service. Mrs. DAVIS was born December 22, 1919, in Sallisaw, to Roy WHITLOCK and Ethel SKELTON WHITLOCK. She died Wednesday, August 1, 2001, in Catoosa. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, DeeDee and husband Dick; one son, Hugh Blaine; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Aaron. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 52 years Hugh DAVIS on January 11, 1990 and three sister, Lois, Alberta and Helen.

Bruce Anthony KLEMAN, 44, of Franklinton, La., were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2001, at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with Father Jeff Polasek officiating. Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. KLEMAN was born January 31
