Funeral services for Okla AZEVEDO, 87, of Modesto-Ceres, Calif., formerly of Maple, were held at 10 a.m., Monday, June 3, 2002, in Salas Brothers Funeral Home in Modesto. Burial was in Acadia Memorial Park in Modesto. Mrs. AZEVEDO was born on March 11, 19153.(1915)  She died May 29, 2002, in Memorial Medical center in Modesto. Survivors include one son, Jack; one daughter, Jackie; three sisters, Hazel, Etta and Ether; three grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack AZEVEDO and her parents, Charlie PENDERGRASS and Diana Malissa (MORGAN) PENDERGRASS.

Graveside services for Beverly L. COURTNEY, 77, of Roland, were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, in Lee's Chapel Cemetery, in Muldrow, under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith, Ark. Mrs. COURTNEY died Sunday, June 30, 2002, in Fort Smith. Survivors include four sons, Calvin Lee, Gary Arthor, Paul Henry and Scott Edward ; 14 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for James U.L. JOHNSTON, 81, of Paradise Hills, were held at 7 p.m., Monday, June 24, 2002, in Gore United Methodist Church, with Revs. Mark Howard and Bill Buttram officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa on Tuesday, June 25, 2002, at 3 p.m. Mr. JOHNSTON was born on July 6, 1920, in Webbers Falls to James Marion JOHNSTON and Erma Eula (BRAY) JOHNSTON. He died Friday, June 21, 2002, in Muskogee. He married Arabel Wycoff CAMMANN on June 23, 1981, in Muskogee. Survivors include his wife, Arabel JOHNSTON of the home; one daughter, Linda; three sons, James U.L. Jr., Jerry Lee and Larry Allen; 13 grandchildren; one step-daughter, Barbara J.; one step-son, Bruce; five step-grandchildren; ten step-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lura Virginia, Helen and Barbara; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Jewel JOHNSTON and Rubye RILEY and two brothers, G.D. and Leroy JOHNSTON.

Mary Elliott KRING, 92, of  Webber Falls died Monday July 1, 2002, in Sallisaw. She was born Feb. 23, 1910, in Van Buren, Ark. to Zeke and Emma FARMER. Arrangements are under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Survivors include one son, Henry Clay; one daughter, Sara Ann; and three grandchildren.

Graveside services for J.M. REEDER, 78, of Sallisaw, will be held at 9:30 a.m., Friday in Akins Cemetery northeast of Sallisaw, with rev. Morie Lowrimore officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. REEDER was born Jan. 7, 1924, in Drakes Prairie community, to Wilson Henry "W.H." REEDER and Gillie (WALTERS) REEDER. He died Sunday, June 30, 2002, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include one son, Jon; two daughters, Jeri and Dianne; several grandchildren; one great-grandson; one sister, Wanda; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Erven Leeroy 'Roy' REYNOLDS, 85, of Booneville, Ark. were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, at First Assembly of God Church in Booneville, with burial in Lick Creek Cemetery near Booneville, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home in Booneville. Mr. REYNOLDS died Saturday, June 29, 2002, in a Booneville hospital. Survivors include six daughters, Irene, Sandy, Royce, Linda, Paulette and Annette; three sons, J.B. "Joe", Eddie and Roy Allen; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jean. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Laverne (MITTEN) REYNOLDS and one son, Billy Wayne REYNOLDS.

Funeral services for Carl Junior WARNER, 71, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2002, in Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home in Stilwell, with Bro. Roger Haney officiating. Burial was in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery, under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral of Stilwell. Mr. WARNER was born on Sept. 9, 1930, to John and Merine (CRITTENDEN) WARNER. He died Sunday, June 23, 2002. Mr. WARNER married Velta HUNTER on July 6, 1953. Survivors include his wife, Velta WARNER of the home; one daughter, Debbie and her husband Chriss; one son, Bobby and his wife Lisa; three grandchildren; three sisters, Carrie, Frances and Patricia; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Bob K WARNER.

Burial was in Haskell Cemetery under the direction of Dowdy Funeral Home of Haskell. Mrs. BUNCH was born March 8,1 908, in Terrell county, Texas, to Roy W. and Maude (TITUS) WOODARD. She died Monday, July 1, 2002, in Vian. She married Roy W. BUNCH on Aug. 11, 1928 in Muskogee. He preceded her in death in Sept. 1983. Survivors include her children, J.W. and Jean, Robert and Barbara, Donald, Edna and Cloyde, Paul and Jackie, and Jo and Robert; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one sister Lorene. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services for J.D. COLEMAN, 41, of Muldrow, were held at 1 p.m., Friday, at Bellefonte Baptist Church, north of Muldrow, with the Rev. Martin Cochran officiating. Burial was in Bellefonte Cemetery, north of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. COLEMAN was born April 13, 1961 to Henry COLEMAN and Dora (EAGLE) COLEMAN. He died Wednesday, July 3, 2002, in Fort Smith, Ark.. Survivors include one son, Brandon; his father, Henry COLEMAN; three sisters, Pauline, Norma and Jo Ann; three brothers, Ralph, Johnny and Hank; two nieces; three nephews; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Mr. DAVID was born on May 1, 1925, to Bessie Ellen. He died Wednesday, July 3, 2002, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife, Ella POINDEXTER of the home; two daughters, Thelma and Joyce; Woodrow and Ervin; three step-daughters, Janie and Vivian and Lusy; three step-sons, Ernest, Neil and Lloyd; 13 grandchildren;15 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Max.

Burial was in New Hope Cemetery in Spiro under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home in Pocola. Mr. KARL was born on Nov. 9, 1939, in Pocola. He died Tuesday, July 2, 2002, in Pocola. Survivors include his wife, Sherry KARL, of the home; two daughters and son-in-law, Cilla and Jay, and Kelly; two sons, Eddie and Shannon; one stepdaughter, Kathy and her husband Dax; one stepson, Joshua; five grandchildren; two sister, Edith and Dorothy; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones and a host of beloved friends.

Graveside services for Alvie E. MELTON, 91, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m., Friday, in Sallisaw City Cemetery, with Rev. Steve Rutherford officiating, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. MELTON was born on Oct. 22, 1910, in Sebree, Ky., to Dan and Opal L. MELTON. He died Monday, July 1, 2002, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife Goldie MELTON of the home; one daughter, Cheryl, one stepdaughter, Marvelle; and one grandson.

Funeral services for Johnnie Eva Lois SMITH, 95, of Arkoma, were held at 3 p.m., Friday, at First Baptist Church of Arkoma. Burial was in Blackjack Cemetery, in Muldrow, under the direction of Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Ark. Mrs. SMITH died Wednesday, July 3, 2002, in a local hospital. Survivors include two daughters, Anna Sue and Betty; two sons, Bill and Bobby; ten grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Inez and Belva.

McCurry Cemetery, under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. Mr. BALL died Friday, July 5, 2002, in a local hospital. Survivors include his wife Hazel of the home; four daughters, Anita, Debbie, Beverly and Teresa; five sons, Jack, Ken, Bill, Wes and Eddie; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pat and Lucille.; and one brother, George.

Opal JILES DUSTMAN, 88, of the Maple community, were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow, with Rev. Dale Doss and Bro. Ted Stamps officiating. Burial was in Maple Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. DUSTMAN was born Sept. 25, 1913, in the Maple community, to William Eli JILES and Sarah Jane (McBURNEY) JILES. She died Monday, July 8, 2002, in Muldrow. She married Winford Austin DUSTMAN Sr. on Nov. 15, 1932 in the Maple community. He preceded her in death on Aug 28, 1988. Survivors include three daughters, Sally, Pat and June; two sons, Junior and Donald Ray

William Barney "Bill" HEDGE III, 85, died early Saturday. He was born on Sept. 21, 1916, in Claremore to William Barney HEDGE JR and Florence Irene SMITH HEDGE.  He married Helen Bernice McENTIRE. on Jan. 27, 1939 in Norman. Helen HEDGE died Dec. 1, 2000, in Sallisaw. HEDGE is survived by one son, William Barney; one sister, Betty Lou; one brother, Jack; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2002, in Blue Ribbon Downs Clubhouse with Elder Ken Pervis Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Claremore under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Floyd Ray HORRELL, 65, of Muskogee, formerly of Gore, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, at Millsap Funeral Chapel in Webbers Falls, with Don Cherry officiating. Burial was in White Cemetery in Gore under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. He was born July 26, 1936, in Howell, Texas to Clyde and Leola (HUFF) HORRELL. He died Saturday, July 5, 2002, in Muskogee. Survivors include his wife Ruth HORRELL of the home; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Tommy and Charles and his wife Janett; two daughters and one son-in-law, Sharon and her husband Ken, and Kelly; four grandchildren; two great-grandsons; one brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and his wife Ocie Mae; and four sisters and brothers-in-law, Gloria and her husband Jack, Bessie and her husband Lonnie, Faye and her husband, Chester, and Rose and her husband John.

Burial was in Gracelawn Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. Mr. McCLURE died Friday, July 5, 2002, in a local hospital. Survivors include his wife, Judy of the home; two daughters, Ceri and her husband Gary and Amanda and her fiancee Mica; two grandchildren; and two brothers, Dennis and Darrell Jan.

Mr. SOUTHERLAND was born on April 21, 1929, in Gans to William Albert SOUTHERLAND and Pearl Lee (SANDLIN) SOUTHERLAND. He died Thursday, July 4, 2002, in Fort Smith. He married Shirley Ann CHRONISTER on June 24, 1988, in Greenwood Junction. Jones officiating. Burial is in Mount Hope Cemetery in Chicago, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. KILPATRICK was born on May 23, 1940, in Chicago to Alvin WILLIAMS and Lucille (WRIGHT) WILLIAMS. She died Tuesday, July 9, 2002, in Sallisaw. She married Albert KILPATRICK on May 18, 1960 in Cooke County, Ill. Survivors include her husband, Albert of the home; two daughters and son-in-law, Anna and Bernard and Toni; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Albert,  Frank and Jennifer, and David and Yvette; 15 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; three sisters, Helen, Barbara and Lorenae; and four brothers, Elvan, Harry, Wayne and Lewrence. She was preceded in death by one sister, Carol HIGHT and one brother, Frank M. WILLIAMS.

Funeral services for Evelyn FLURRY WOODIS, 77, of Moffett, are being held at 11 a.m., Saturday, in New Morning Star Baptist Church in Moffett. Burial is in Centerpoint Cemetery, southwest of Muldrow, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. WOODIS was born Nov. 21, 1924, in Foreman, to William FLURRY and Minnie (NICKERSON) FLURRY. She died Wednesday, July 10, 2002, in Moffett. Survivors include six daughters, Mary, Ernestine, Cecil, Sally, Minnie and Rosie; one son, Lonnie; three sisters, Ora Bell, Willie Mae and Virginia; 17 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, John Henry WOODIS Jr., Ozell BENTON and Johnny Lee WOODIS; one daughter, Ora Lee WOODIS; one granddaughter, Melissa BENTON; two sisters, Billie Jo ROBINSON and Irene McGHEE; and five brothers, Leroy, Wallace, John Henry, Jessie and William "Bill" FLURRY.

Curtis Mitchell officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. BUZZARD was born on May 26, 1929, in Sequoyah County, to Troy LOWERY and Jemanner (ROSE) LOWERY. She died Friday, July 12, 2002, in Sallisaw. Survivors include two daughters, Christine and Karen; one son, Lawrence; seven grandchildren, Shane, Jamie, Mark, Mackie, Matthew, Lawrence and Mariah; her companion, Felix BUZZARD of the home; three sisters, Ruby, Wanda and Bessie; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one sister, Bonnie BENGE and one brother, Mannon LOWERY.

Burial of cremains will be at a later date in Fields Cemetery in Porum under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Gore. Mrs. COCKE was born Feb. 5, 1945, in Pawhuska to Jay COLE and Helen (COSPER) COLE. She died Tuesday, July 16, 2002, in Sallisaw. She married David COCKE on Dec. 21, 1963, in Colorado. Survivors include her husband of the home; her mother, Helen COLE; five sisters, Carol, Sherry, Helen, Jody and Janet; three brothers, Kenny, Ronnie and Greg; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Royal FLURRY, 57, of Arkoma, were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, in the Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren, Ark. Burial was in Gill Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. Mr. FLURRY died Friday, July 12, 2002, in his home. Survivors include two daughters, Aurora and Gayla; one son, Royal D.; six grandchildren; one sister, Lois, and three brothers, Jamie, Chuck and Otis.

Nathan Lamirand officiating, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. She was born April 24, 1963, in Russellville, Ark. to Janice (COWENS) HEDGPETH and Gary Dean HEDGPETH. She died Tuesday, July 9, 2002, in Tulsa. Survivors include two daughters, Carol Marie and Christina; three sons, John David, Joseph Dean and Christopher; her father, Gary Dean HEDGPETH; her mother Janice COWENS; two brothers, Gary and Allen; and one sister and brother-in-law, Billie Sue and her husband Keith.

Funeral services for Lois Marie JONES, 60, of Gore will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, at the Gore High School Gymnasium, with Revs. Jimmy Hayes and George Hubbard officiating. Burial will be in Stevenson Cemetery in Gum Springs under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Gore. Mrs. JONES was born Sept. 30, 1941, in Gore to Leonard TERRELL and Orpha (OWENS) TERRELL. She died Monday, July 15, 2002, in Tulsa. She married Rev. Cleatis JONES on June 6, 1959, in Poteau. Survivors include her husband, of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cleta Lynn and Danny, and Sheila and Danny; eight grandchildren, Lori, Lesa, Johnna, Julie, Annette, Johnathan, Jesse and Danelle; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother and  sister-in-law, Doyle and his wife Darlene; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lola and her husband Bill, and Pat and her husband Andy; one sister-in-law, Dorothy; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Grace V. MERRILL, 95, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, at the Church of Christ in Sallisaw, with Bros. Royce Martina and Jerry McMahon officiating. Burial was in Sallisaw Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. MERRILL was born April 1, 1907, in the Sequoyah district, Indian Territory to David WILDEN and Martha Elizabeth (WINFORD) WILDEN. She died Sunday, July 14, 2002, in Sallisaw. She married Mack MERRILL on Dec. 21, 1923, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death on Sept. 27, 1992. Survivors include four daughters, Maxine, Velma, Billie and Elzie; two sons, Kenneth and Shelby; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Ona McCLURG of the home; two sons, Roger and Bobby; one stepdaughter, Mary; one stepson, Lonnie; his mother Neva ROSS; three sisters, Ann, Janey and JoAnn; seven brothers, Don, Dick, John, Steve, Jerry, Bud and Earl; and three grandsons.

Carroll Thomas PERKINS, 63, of Fort Smith, Ark., died Wednesday, July 17, 2002, in Fort Smith. Cremation was under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. Survivors include two daughters, Teresa and Pam; three sons, Larry, Greg and Norman; two brothers, J.D. "Perk" and David; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Margie Thompson REPASS, 54,  of Plano, Texas, were held at 2 p.m., Friday, in Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren, Ark. Burial was in Arbuckle Island Cemetery near Lavaca, Ark., under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. Ms. REPASS  died Sunday, July 14, 2002, in Plano. Survivors include three brothers, Bobby, Tony and Tommy; three nieces; and two nephews.

Burial was in Blackjack Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. ACTON was born June 26, 1961 in Fort Smith, Ark., to Don TOUNZEN and Carolin (EDWARDS) TOUNZEN. She died Thursday, July 18, 2002, in Houston. She married Manue ACTON on Dec. 24, 1986 in Fort Smith. Funeral services for William YAHOLA-BUSTER, 44, of Marble City, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, in the Marble City First Baptist Church with Rev. Clifton Pettit officiating. Burial was in Marble City Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. YAHOLA-BUSTER was born Sept. 25, 1957, in Tahlequah to Junior BUSTER and Lucy YAHOLA. He died Friday, July 19, 2002, in Sallisaw. He married Rose WELCH. Survivors include his wife, Rose of the home; one stepdaughter, Laura; seven sisters, Lahoma, Ruby, Vickie, Patricia, Doris, Juanita and Lydia; six brothers, Jimmy, J.T., Ronnie, Galan, Junior Lee and Don Jay; his father and step-mother, Junior and Lucille BUSTER; his mother-in-law, Wynona WELCH; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucy YAHOLA; one sister, Gracie Marie PRUITT;  and one brother, Dean Evan BUSTER.

Funeral services for Diane DAUGHERTY, 43, of Marble City, were held 2 p.m., Monday, at the First Indian Baptist Church in Marble City, with Rev. Claude Gregory. Burial was in Peters Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. DAUGHERTY was born Aug. 11, 1958, in Bunch to Richard DAUGHERTY and Lizzie COMINGDEER. She died Thursday, July 18, 2002, in Sallisaw.  Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth; two sisters, Jean and Onawake; and three brothers, Levi, Manuel, and Bob.

Funeral services  for Charley Lee KNAPP, 79, of Muldrow, were held, 10 a.m., Monday, at Lee's Creek Assembly of God, north of Muldrow, with Rev. Tommy Treat officiating. Burial was in Seabolt Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. KNAPP was born July 9, 1923, in Sallisaw, to Thomas Oliver KNAPP and Georgia (DENNY) KNAPP. He died Friday, July 19, 2002, in Sallisaw. He married Mildred DAVIS in 1947 in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife, Mildred KNAPP of the home; two daughters, Sue Ellen and Loetta; two sons, Leo and Cliff; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ruby.

Funeral services for Helen FARGO MOYER, 94, of Muldrow, are being held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, at Agent Chapel in Muldrow with Revs. Rodney Click and Kevin Lubbe officiating. Burial is in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. MOYER was born Dec. 12, 1907, in Muldrow, to Fate FARGO and Nancy (MILLSPAUGH) FARGO. She died Sunday, July 21, 2002, in Roland. Survivors include three grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Florence; one sister, Evelyn; and one sister-in-law, LaVonne. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Bill Ervin SELLERS; one grandson, Norman E. SELLERS; and five brothers, Murphy, Owen, Raymond, Woodrow and Hastings FARGO.

Graveside services for Dewayne Leonard HAGY, 31, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, at Oak Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith. He died Thursday, July 18, 2002, in Fort Smith. Survivors include his wife, Jana HAGY of Oklahoma; three sons, Kyle, J.D. and Travis; his parents, Barbara and Dan LAKOWSKI; three sister, Loveina, Debra, and Billie Jean; four half sisters, Martha, Nora Jean, Brandie and Carla; three half-brothers, Carl Eugene, Christopher, and Matthew; and several loving nieces and nephews.

Ralph C. PHILLIPS, 76, of Muldrow, died Tuesday, July 23, 2002, in Fort Smith, Ark. Cremation was under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. PHILLIPS was born Nov. 1, 1925, in Gans to Earl PHILLIPS and Jewell (WATTS) PHILLIPS. Survivors include one daughter, Sue Ann; one sister, Vida; two brothers, Pete and Bill; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Funeral services for Sallie E. RISENHOOVER, 99, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m., Monday, at Brushy Holiness Church, north of Sallisaw, with Larry Don Marley officiating. Burial was in Brushy Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.  She was born Arpil 19,  1903, in Sallisaw to Box McKINNEY and Minnie (BATES) McKINNEY. She died Saturday, July 20, 2002 in Sallisaw.  She married G.W. Buck RISENHOOVER on July 9, 1921, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 1993. Survivors include two daughters, Beatrice and Olta Mae; one son, R.G.; 1 0 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Opal; one brother, Columbus; and several other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Hubert W. TUCK, 51, of Kibler, Ark., were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren, Ark., under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren. He died Sunday, July 21, 2002, in his home. Survivors include his wife, Janice of the home; two daughters, Stacy and Teresa; four sons, Sean, Jason, Shannon and Michael; eight grandchildren; his parents, Ellen and D.T. TUCK; two sisters, Shirley and Vicky; and one brother, Bobby.

Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2002, in Oak Hill Cemetery in Evansville, Ill. under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Evansville. Mr. VINCENT was born Feb. 21, 1930 in Grayville, Ill. to George VINCENT. He died Monday, July 22, 2002, at his home. He married Doris MILLER on March 5, 1949. Survivors include his wife, Doris VINCENT of Mount Ida; three sons and daughters-in-law, Skip and Paula, Tom and Charlotte, and Steve and Polly; two daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and Andy, and Susan and Nelson; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; an infant son; and an infant granddaughter.

Funeral services for Wyatt BROCK, Jr., 69, of Flint, Mich., formerly of Muldrow, were held at 10:30 a.m., Friday at the Shady Grove Baptist Church, with Rev. Daniel Clayton officiating. Burial was in the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark. under the direction of Rowell-Parish Mortuary of Fort Smith. Mr. BROCK was born March 23, 1933, in Muldrow to Wyatt BROCK Sr and Sally STAAR. He died Thursday, July 18, 2002 in Flint, Mich. He married Shirley JoAnne BROCK. Surivors include his wife, Shirley JoAnne BROCK of Muldrow; one daughter, Karen; four sons, Gregory Eugene,  Vincent Patton, Anthony Roche and Brian Keith; two stepdaughters, Dianna L. and Dedra; five stepsons, Charles Edward, Michael Wayne, Donald K., Vincent B. and Shaun; 31 grandchildren; four sisters, Lee Etta, Lucille, Oma and Bernice; and three aunts, Rena, Flossie and Hazel.

Graveside services for Eldon B. HAMBY, 61, of Windsor, Mo., formerly of Muldrow, were held at 10 a.m., Friday, at Lee's Chapel Cemetery, south of Muldrow, with Rev. Tommy Jordan officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. He was born Nov. 6, 1940, in Muldrow to Buen Vester HAMBY and Rebecca Frances (MOORE) HAMBY. He died Monday, July 22, 2002, in Kansas City, Mo. He married Janet Eunice JOHNSON on Dec. 27, 1983 in Sequoyah County. Survivors include his wife, Janet of the home; four daughters, Melinda, Diane, Debbie and Lisa Marie; two sons Bobby and Eldon Lee, numerous grandchildren, his mother, Rebecca Frances HAMBY; and five brothers, Eddie, Roger "R.D.", Alvie, Teddy Dean and Harold Eugene. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Andrew Dempsey ANDERSON.

Funeral services for Ella COTTON REED, 88, of Clarksville, Ark., were  held at 11 a.m., Friday, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel in Clarksville, with Rev. Charlie Wells officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville, under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral home of Clarksville. She was born Jan. 19, 1914, in Moffett to Willie COTTON Sr. and Lillie (PATTERSON) COTTON. She died Tuesday, July 23, 2002, in Dardanelle, Ark. Survivors include one daughter, Lilene; one son and daughter-in-law, William David and Eula; two adopted sons, Carl Lee and Charles; four grandchildren; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Lois and Shirley; and two brothers, C.H. and Leroy.
