Funeral services for William H. BURRIS, 71, of Sallisaw were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Mallory Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Jim Stuart officiating. Burial was in Vian Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born on April 19, 1932, in Arapaho, to Charles Alvin BURRIS and Myrtie VANCIL. He died on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004, in Sallisaw. Survivors include two sisters, Clara and Anna; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mary Francis LOGAN and Dorothy Louise REED; and one brother, Alvin Lee BURRIS.

Funeral services for Mayme O. "Dink" BYNUM, 86, of Sallisaw will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Vian with the Rev. Vernon Lawrence officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born on April 21, 1917, in Jerusalem, Ark., to Henry Stanton SPEARS and Elizabeth Florrie JONES. She died on Monday, March 1, 2004, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one son, Bob; two daughters, Dee Ann and Susan; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Chloe Mae; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tullie Ray BYNUM on March 9, 1982; one son, Capt. Neil S. BYNUM, USAF; three sisters, Elsie, Ola and Marge; three brothers, Les, Jesse and Junior; and one son-in-law, Phillip PARKS.

Funeral services for Doris CHRISTOPHER, 74, of Muldrow were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow with the Revs. Shawn Money and Carl Fugett officiating. Burial was in Gans Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. She was born on Nov. 6, 1929, in Gans to Ivy James GREEN and Nora (SMITH) GREEN. She died on Sunday, Feb. 29, 2004, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Garney CHRISTOPHER on May 30, 1947, in Fort Smith.  Survivors include her husband of the home; one son, Fred; one daughter, Donna and her husband Ron; four grandchildren; one brother, Fred; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Winford, Bobby, Herbert and Stanley GREEN; and three sisters, Minnie PATTON, Ida GREEN and Audrey BUTCHER.

Funeral services for Lucille CROCKETT, 84, of Muldrow were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with the Rev. Phil Talley officiating Burial was in Upper Camp Creek Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow.She was born on Jan. 15, 1920, in Muldrow, to Ewing Wesley HARVELL and Pearl Maud Rose HARVELL. She died on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2004, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Jess CROCKETT on Feb. 4, 1935, in Gans. He preceded her in death on April 10, 1979. Survivors include two daughters, Gladys and Wanda; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son; one daughter; one sister and one brother.

Funeral services for Drucilla B. FORD, 81, of Van Buren, Arkansas were held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren, Ark., with burial in Allison Cemetery in Sequoyah County, under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.She died on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2004, in her home. Survivors include her husband, Robert FORD of the home; three daughters, Judy, Susan and Ima Jean; one son, Glen; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Pauline, Olean, Francis and Lillian; and two brothers, Joe and Leslie. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Alonzo and Noel SPEAR; one son, Larry; and her parents, Elmer and Annie GRAHAM SPEAR.

Funeral services for Doil Dean "Nub" FOUT, 82, of Sallisaw were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with the Revs. Charles Sparkman and Joe Fowler officiating. Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born Nov. 29, 1921, in Vian, to Martha TINNEY. He died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2004, in Sallisaw. He married Bonnie Marie MERRILL on July 8, 1946, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie FOUT of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Ron; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Nida; four grandsons; one great-granddaughter; two sisters, Ruby and Hazel; one aunt, Ruth; two step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Betty Jean GRAVER, 75, of Tulsa were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Will Rogers United Methodist Church in Tulsa, with Dr. Mel Whittington officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa under the direction of Moore's Eastlawn Chapel of Tulsa. She was born on Oct. 14, 1928, in Sallisaw. She died Friday, Feb. 27, 2004. Survivors include one brother, Bill; one sister, Rachel; two step-daughters, Nicole and Jia; two step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephew; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, William GRAVER.

Funeral services for T.A. GREENMYER JR., 61, of Stigler are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Main Street Baptist Church with the Revs. John Pruett and Roy Gene Edge officiating. Burial is in Stigler City Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Stigler. He was born on Feb. 3, 1943, in Magazine, Ark. to Allie and Dortha (HARRIS) GREENMYER SR. He died on Monday, March 1, 2004, in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. GREENMYER married Carolyn MIKLES on Dec. 13, 1973, in Ardmore. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn GREENMYER of the home; three daughters and two sons-in-law, LeaAnne and her husband John, and Emily, and Stephanie and her husband Kevin; seven grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Trice; his mother-in-law, Betty and her husband Olen; two sisters-in-law, Kim and her husband Jay, and Toni and her husband Marty; two nephews; four nieces and several aunts; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Loretta EDWARDS.

Graveside services for Kella Young JACKSON, 95, of Vian were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born on Feb. 8, 1909, in Pinhook community, to Richard YOUNG and Nannie Elizabeth (SHANKS) YOUNG. She died on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004, in Vian. Mrs. JACKSON was a homemaker and worked as a welder for Bethlehem Steel during World War II in the shipyards in California. She formerly worked in packaging for Bordens Ice Cream and Giants Distributing and was of the Baptist faith. She married B. JACKSON on Feb. 8, 1924, in Blackgum. He preceded her in death on Feb. 18, 2004. The couple celebrated their 80th wedding anniversary on Feb. 8, 2004. Survivors include one son, Carlton; two daughters, Joanne and Louise; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Ed; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Opal PADEN.

Funeral services for Richard MARTINDALE, 52, of Poteau, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with the Rev. Phil McGehee officiating. Burial was in Howe Cemetery, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.He was born on March 12, 1951, in Shawnee, to Bill and Mary MARTINDALE. He died on Sunday, Feb. 29, 2004, in Poteau. Survivors include his mother of Howe; two children, Nicholas and Audumn Rae; three brothers, Rodney, Randy and Russell; and several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services for Boyd Thomas McCOLLUM, 72, of Sallisaw were held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with the Revs. Ed Cherry and David Haley officiating.  Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born on March 6, 1931, in Jacksonville, Ala., to Jesse E. McCOLLUM and Annie Clyde (GARMON) McCOLLUM. He died on Friday, Feb. 20, 2004, in Sallisaw. Mr. McCOLLUM married Birdie May CROSS on March 7, 1956, in Bragg City, Mo. Survivors include his wife Birdie McCOLLUM of the home; one son, Thomas; three daughters, Betty, Nora and Marcia; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary France, Brenda and Paula; four brothers, Patrick, Charles, Steve and Clarence; and several nieces, nephews, cousin and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by three brothers, David, Ed and Bud McCOLLUM.

She died on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Jack McGEHEE on March 12, 1955, in Poteau. Survivors include her husband of the home; one daughter, Lesa; two sons, Jeffrey Lee and Howard Wayne; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Geneva and Levarn; two brothers, Dub and G.B.; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was born on Sept. 18, 1928, in Hanson to Marion William MILLER and Elsie Emma (STAFFAN) MILLER. He died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004, in Sallisaw. He married Pat MILLER on Feb. 19, 1955, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Glenda Gail and her husband Dan; one granddaughter; five sisters, Sybil, Ruby June, Betty, Carol and Charlotte; one brother, C.B.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

He died on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004, in a nursing home. Survivors include one daughter; one son; four grandchildren; three sisters, Stella, Virginia and Ellen; five brothers, Olen, Dwight, Paul, Clyde and Raymond.

Funeral services for Mary Ann "Granny" REED, 81, of Muldrow was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Belfonte Baptist Church in Belfonte community north of Muldrow with the Rev. David Preweet officiating. Burial was in Belfonte Cemetery in Belfonte community north of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow.She was born on Nov. 18, 1922, in Belfonte community to James KELLEY and Addie Lacy KELLEY. She died on Friday, Feb. 27, 2004, in Roland.  She married James Buck REED on July 22, 1940, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death on May 10, 2003. Survivors include two granddaughters, Shila and Lanette; two sisters, Mildred; and Glenna. She was also preceded in death by one son, Cleon James REED.

Funeral services for Charles Damon WESTMORELAND SR., 76, of Magazine, Ark., were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Booneville, Ark., with burial in Cauthron Cemetery in Booneville, under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Booneville. He died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2004, in Fayetteville, Ark. He died on Wednesday, March 3, 2004, in an area hospital. Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born on Feb. 27, 1958, in Okmulgee, to Herbert Hoover BAILEY and Norma Katheryn YOUNG. He died on Sunday, March 7, 2004, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one daughter, Amanda Marie and her husband Brad Aaron; one son, Darrell Wayne; two sisters, Linda Lou and her husband Marvin Allen, and Brenda Sue and her husband Carl Don; two brothers, Herbert Wayne, and John Paul and his wife Kathy; six nieces; six nephews; and his father. He was preceded in death by his mother.

S. Sgt. F.C. (E9) Ronald Clint JEREMIAH, 67, of Bay City, Texas died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, in his home. He was born on Jan. 14, 1937, in Short, to Ted and Mabel (ROSSON) JEREMIAH. A private memorial service will be held for the family only at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of Memorial Oaks Chapel Funeral Home of Brenham, Texas.  He married Elaine E. PALMER on Feb. 15, 1957, in Olivehurst, Calif. Survivors include his wife, Elaine E. JEREMIAH; two son, Marky and Robert; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Ronda, Donna and Al, and Teresa and Doyle; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Charles and June; two sisters, Roberta and Joyce. Leroy Reid officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born on Jan. 11, 1929, in Marble City to Richard Dick HONEYCUTT and Mary Frances "May" DORNAN. She died on Friday, March 5, 2004, in Weatherford. She married Dallas McLEMORE in 1961 in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death on Feb. 14, 1993. Survivors include two daughters, Shirley and Brenda; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, Fred, Charlie  and Doyle; four sisters, Edith, Irene, Ruth and Evelyn; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Raleigh HONEYCUTT and one grandson, Maverick James SALLEE.

Graveside services for Thomas Emory MEADOWS, 70, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Akins Cemetery northeast of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Monroe Lowrimore officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born on Aug. 9, 1933, in Montgomery, Ala., to Emory MEADOWS and Neva SKIPPER. He died on Thursday, March 4, 2004, in Sallisaw. Mr. Meadows was the owner of a plastering business. He married Janice HUTCHCRAFT on Nov. 24, 1987, in Jacksonville, Fla. She preceded him in death on Feb. 15, 1997. Survivors include one son, Matthew; three brothers, Robert, Jerry Dale, and Arvil; one sister, Sue and two step-daughters, Tammy and Penny.  He was also preceded in death by one sister, Prissy MEADOWS.

Burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the Resthaven Sunset Memorial Parks Cemetery in Ponca City under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born on March 25, 1919, in Hay Springs, Neb., to John SCHILDHAUER and Vena HANKS SCHILDHAUER. He died on Monday, March 8, 2004, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Frances SCHILDHAUER on Nov. 8, 1945, in Ponca City. Survivors include his wife Frances of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Joy; one granddaughter; one sister, Laura; and several other relatives and friends.

He was born on Feb. 6, 1931. He died on Friday, March 5, 2004.  Survivors include his wife, Bernice WAFFLE of the home; one daughter, Tammy and her husband Charles; one son, James; three grandchildren; and one sister, Ann.

Graveside services with Military Honors for Donald Ray ASBILL, 73, of Stockton, Calif., were held at 11 a.m. Feb. 18 at the Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi, Calif., under the direction of Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home of Lodi. He was born on Jan. 15, 1931, in Northview community in Sequoyah County, to Miles ASBILL and Effie (STEWART) ASBILL. He died Feb 12, 2004, in a convalescent care facility. Survivors include his children, Larry Ray, Debra Louise, Shirley, David Miles, and Carlton Lee; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Thelma and Bernadine; one step-sister, Betty Jean. He was preceded in death by one brother, Clebborn ASBILL and one sister, Hazel YOKUM BARTH and his parents.
