Funeral services for John CHEATER, Sr., 55, of Sallisaw, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with Revs. Norman Ledford, Wesley Leverett and Julie Girty officiating. Burial will be in Flute Springs Cemetery, near Marble City, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. Cheater, Sr. was born, Dec. 6, 1949, in Marble City, to Charles Watt CHEATER and Lizzy (MURPHY) CHEATER. He died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Linda MORRIS, Dec. 14, 1971, in Florence, Ariz. Survivors include his wife, Linda of the home; two daughters, Melanie "Toot" and Kystal Rene; three sons, John "Punchy", Jr. and wife, Cathy, and Joe B. and wife, Bertha, and Jeremy Lance; father, Watt CHEATER; one sister, Ada; five step-sisters, Ruby, Pauline, Lucy, Nellie and Carolyn; two brothers, Jerry and Robert; one step-brother, Watie; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lizzy MURPHY DIRTSELLER, one sister, Louanna CHEATER, one brother, George CHEATER and one grandson, Noah CHEATER.

Graveside services for Moody PATTON, 79, of Sealy, Texas, formerly of Muldrow, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Muldrow with Rev. Freddy Christopher officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. PATTON was born, June 21, 1926, in Fort Smith, Ark., to William Moody PATTON, Sr. and Vera (WALTON) PATTON. He died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005, in Sealy. Survivors include one daughter, Judith "Judy"; one son, Bryan; one granddaughter; one sister, Polly; and one niece. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bernice PITTMAN and second wife, Janet Heidenreich PATTON, parents, and his grandparents, Gideon PATTON and Vera BLACKARD PATTON.

Funeral services for Nellie SHADE, 79, of Midwest City, are being held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Vian High School Gymnasium with Rev. R.D. Livingston officiating. Burial is in Roselawn Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral home of Sallisaw. Mrs. SHADE was born, Oct. 25, 1925, in Vian, to Paul Mayo SCARBROUGH and Eunice DREW. She died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005, in Mid West City. Survivors include five daughters, Emma, Lorine, Vikki, Janice and Robia; three sons, Leon, Kenneth and Ray; three sisters, Rosa Lee, Florine and Maxine; host of grandchildren; host of great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Samuel SCARBROUGH, sister, Inez FULSON and three brothers, Robert, Chester, and Sam SCARBROUGH.

Funeral services for Mayolo AVELAR, 29, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Iglesia Bautista Monte Calvario Church in Muldrow under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith. Cremation followed the funeral service. Mr. AVELAR died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005. Survivors include his wife, Beverly AVELAR; one daughter, Cecilia; one son, Christian; one stepson, Jonathan; mother, Isabel GARCIA; father, Mayolo AVELAR; grandmother, Cecilia HERMOZA; and four sisters, Vianney, Cecilia, Carolina and Maria A.

A family gathering for Eugene CALLAWAY, 80, of Claremore, will be held at a later date. Mr. CALLAWAY was born Nov. 3, 1924, in Gans. He died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, in Claremore. Survivors include his wife, Dona of Sand Springs; five step-children, Shirley, Dennis, Gary, Paula and Darrell; several grandchildren; and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Michael and Kenneth, and one brother, Billy CALLOWAY.

Funeral services for Maurice Lee CUNNINGHAM, 75, of Gore, are being held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Agent Chapel in Gore with Carrol Cope officiating. Cremation will be under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Gore. Mr. CUNNINGHAM was born Sept. 15, 1930, in Kansas City, Mo., to Ray CUNNINGHAM and Margaret (JAMES) CUNNINGHAM. He died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005, in Gore. He married Pauline TURNER, 1958, in Miami. Survivors include his wife, Pauline of the home.

Funeral services for Warren G. HARVELL, 84, of Roland, were held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Victory Temple Pentecostal Church in Roland with Rev. Randy Farmer officiating. Burial was in Upper Camp Creek Cemetery northwest of Roland, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr HARVELL was born Oct. 10, 1920, in Liberty Community, to Barney Alonzo HARVELL and Minnie Ann (SHAMBLIN) HARVELL. He died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2005, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Elsie Elizabeth FOREMAN, Feb. 3, 1947, in Van Buren, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Elsie HARVELL of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Mary, and Gerald and Carol Jo; two daughters, and sons-in-law, Vickie and Bill, and Kathy and Todd; one sister, Bonnie; one brother, Barney; six granddaughters; four grandsons; and nine great-granchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Margie DILLON and three brothers, Norman, Virgal and Dallas HARVELL.

Chuck" HICKS, 50, of Webbers Falls, were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Webbers Falls with John Mark Hicks and Revs. Tony Shaw, Bill Sherill and Gary McKeen officiating. Burial was in Vaught Cemetery in Webbers Falls, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mr. HICKS was born, Dec. 2, 1954, in Dallas, to Charles Luther HICKS and Betty Jean (HARRIS) HICKS. He died Thursday, Sept. 29, 2005, in Tulsa. He married Marcia MAXEY, March 10, 1979, in Richardson.  Survivors include his wife Marcia HICKS of the home; two sons, John Mark and Joel Andrew; his parents, Charles and Betty HICKS; mother-in-law, Bobby MAXEY; one brother-in-law, Mark; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

Cremation for Otis Wayne HUNT, 54, of Clarksville, Ark., was under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home of Clarksville. Mr. HUNT died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005, in Fort Smith, Ark. Mr. HUNT was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his fiancé, Evetta YOUNG; three daughters, Andrea, Penny and Laverene; father, Otis L. HUNT of Sallisaw; one brother, Bob HUNT of Sallisaw; six sisters, Barbara, Carolyn and Chet, and Betty and Coy, Evelyn and Tim, and Mary and Mike, and the late Diann Lee; and several grandchildren.

Doyle Ginn officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. LEIGH was born Jan. 4, 1953, in Tulsa, to Austin Millard LEIGH and Beulah Lorene SCOTT. He died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, in Tulsa. He married Karen LEIGH Aug. 1, 1985, in Tulsa.  Survivors include his wife, Karen of the Home; one daughter and son-in-law, Michelle Lea and Larry; one son, Darrell Lee; one sister, Debbie; and three grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

Graveside services for Bobby Lee PETERS, 70, of Sallisaw, were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Peters Cemetery north east of Sallisaw with Pastor Perry Flerchinger officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. PETERS was born Jan. 1, 1935, in Seven Oaks Community east of Sallisaw, to Thomas Luther PETERS and Ana Fairy (WAGES) WATTS PETERS. He died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, in Sallisaw. He married Sallie Jean SPENCER, March 3, 1956, in Las Vegas, Nev. Survivors include his wife of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Sherri Lea and Jamie; one son, Spencer Todd; two grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty, Iva and Eutha; two brothers, Ford and James; and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Billie Sue PROCTOR-RICHARDS , 65, of Tahlequah, are being held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Proctor with Brother Vance Mooney officiating. Burial is in Proctor Community Cemetery, under the direction of Hart Funeral home of Tahlequah. Mrs. RICHARDS was born, Nov. 15, 1939, in Proctor, to Walter and Ada (BROWN) PROCTOR. She died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005, in Sallisaw. She married Kenneth RICHARDS in Haskell.  Survivors include seven children, Rick and Karen, Kendra Sue and Billy, and William and Karen, Kennilee and Vance, Kenneth and Mary Kathleen, and Ronald, and Bethany and Travis; four sisters and brothers, Krit and Resa, Mary Joyce and Erval, Jimmie Ruth, and Jo Ann and Robert; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Graveside services for Billy E. "Chief" SANDERS, 71, of Independence, Mo., formerly of Sallisaw, are being held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Dwight Mission Cemetery northwest of Sallisaw with Bro. Dennis James officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. SANDERS was born May 2, 1934, in Vian, to Hooley Baxter SANDERS and Telitha Elizabeth (WELCH) SANDERS. He died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005, in Independence. Survivors include his wife, Sandy SANDERS of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Glenn, Ginger and Bart, and Cindy and Kip; one son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Barbara; 11 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two sisters, Mary and Jane; two brothers, Sonny and Tom; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Jack, John, Mose, Charlie and Gus and two sisters, Katherine HILL and Glennie WILSON.

Cremation for Dickie L. SHAW, 59, of Park Hill, formerly of Van Buren, Ark., were under the direction of Green Country Funeral Home of Tahlequah. Mr. SHAW died, Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005, in Park Hill. Survivors include two sons, Robert and Jimmy; mother, Dorothy L. SHAW; three sisters, Patty, Connie and Pam; two brothers, Lindrel Eugene, Jr. and Rodney; five grandchildren.

Mrs. TURRENTINE was born Dec. 31, 2005, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Sherman Wayne PRATT and Beulah Mae (CLICK) PRATT. She died Friday, Sept. 30, 2005, in Fort Smith. She married Lester Jeff TURRENTINE, July 25, 1979, in Fort Smith. Survivors include her husband, of the home; one daughter, Monique; one son, Jeff; two granddaughters; parents, Wayne and Beulah PRATT; two sisters, Beverly and Janie; one brother, Kenny; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. She died Monday, October 10, 2005, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Clarence Ralph PACK, July 31, 1928, in Blackgum. He preceded her in death, Sept. 24, 1998, in Sallisaw. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Rema Lou and Calvin, Elizabeth and Ray; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Cecil and Ethel, Kenneth and Mary, and Talmage; three sisters, Lily, Golda and Jean; one brother, Cooie; 19 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 25 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Marie ROGERS, 90, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery near Spiro, under the direction of Edwards Funeral home of Fort Smith. Mrs. ROGERS was born Dec. 5, 1914, in Charleston, Ark., to Albert Ashley BROOKS and Lizzie PARKER. She died Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, in a local hospital. She was married to Rev. James Asa ROGERS for 53 years. Survivors include one son, Jerry; three daughters, Juanita, Betty and Sandy; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; and various nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside services for Quanah "Lee" SIMS, Jr., 43, of Muldrow, were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Sims Family Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Treat officiating under the direction of Mallory Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. SIMS, Jr. was born Feb. 1, 1962, in Nicut, to Quanah Lee SIMS and Ramona NELSON. He died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005, in Nicut. Survivors include one sister, Marsha; one brother, Jerry D.; one nephew; three nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation for Richard Allen STANFORD, 42, of Roland, was under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Roland. Mr. STANFORD was born June 10, 1963, in Los Angeles, to Jimmy D. STANFORD and Mary Lou MASTERS. He died Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, in Sallisaw. He married Melody COFFEY Jan. 18, 1998, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife of the home; one son, John Steve; two step-sons, James Winston and Albert Eugene; mother, Mary Lou ANDERSON; father, Jimmy STANFORD; three sisters, Regina, Jammie and Kim; and two brothers, Gary and Dennis.

Michael Allen VINCENT, 18, of Vian, was born March 26, 1987, in Brooksville, Fla., to Paul Stephen VINCENT and Tammy ROBERTS. He died Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, in Sallisaw. Survivors include five brothers, Stephen, Luke, John, Aaron and David; and father, Paul VINCENT.

Mr. MOORE was born June 5, 1946, in Stigler, to Porter MOORE and Sylvia (McKIBBEN) MOORE. He died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2005, in Tulsa. Survivors include one daughter, Gena; one son, Michael David and wife Lynnette; mother and step-father, Sylvia MOORE ROUSE and Chris ROUSE; four sisters, Joye, Syvella, Alice and Leslie; one brother, Donald; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Porter MOORE.

Funeral services for Doris Ann WILSON, 78, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with Rev. Bill Adcock officiating. Burial is in Long Cemetery, north of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. WILSON was born July 10, 1927, in Long Community, to Theodore BOYD and Ira (PINKERTON) BOYD. She died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2005, in Fort Smith. Survivors include one daughter, Sharon; two sons, Tom and Ted; three half sisters, Pat, Shirley and Myrna; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Deanna HIGHSMITH.

Burial was in Marble City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. PERRY was born Aug. 27, 1907, in Lenna, to Frank Wesley LEVERETT and Kogee (MORRISON) LEVERETT. She died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2005, in Sallisaw. She married Earl Jesse PERRY, Feb. 13, 1929, in Marble City. He preceded her in death, Aug. 4, 1995, in Marble City. Survivors include one daughter, Jeane P.; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by four brothers and sisters.

Mr. STAMM was born March 17, 1944, in Anthony, Kan., to Paul STAMM and Gertrude (LYNAM) STAMM. He died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Shirley DAILEY, Jan. 30, 1978, in Vian. Survivors include his wife Shirley of the home; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Tammy, Tina, Janet and Sammy, and Julie and Stacy; 11 granchildren; four great-granchildren; father, Paul STAMM; five sisters, Mary, Evelyn, Pauline, Venita and Julie.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Jamie SPEARS, one brother, Marshall STAMM and his mother, Gertrude Lynam STAMM.

Burial is in the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark., under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. Mrs. WORD died Monday, Oct. 17, 2005, in Mountainburg. Funeral services for Wesley A. DAVIS, 25, of Cookson, are being held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Cookson with Rev. Marilyn Schellhamer officiating. Burial is in Cookson Proctor Cemetery in Cookson, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. DAVIS was born July 14, 1980, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Tony Lee DAVIS and Marcia Lea (WOOD) DAVIS. He died Oct. 19, 2005, in Cookson. Survivors include his parents, Tony and Marcia DAVIS; one sister, Sara; paternal grandfather, Huston DAVIS; paternal great-grandmother, Hester DAVIS; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

Graveside services for Russell "Eddie" MYERS, Jr., 59, of Wister, were held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Sallisaw City Cemetery with Jeff Little officiating under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau. Mr. MYERS, Jr. was born July 5, 1946, in Muldrow, to Russell MYERS, Sr. and Carrie (BURNS) MYERS. He died Monday, Oct. 17, 2005, in Wister. He married Ramona McKINNEY, May 12, 1995, in Las Vegas. Survivors include his wife, Ramona of the home; father, Russell MYERS, Sr. and step-mother LaVerne; one son, Brandon Edward; one daughter Jodi Lynn; two step-children, II Lt. Scott and his wife Jennifer and Micki and her husband Lance; one grandson; one sister, Charlotte and her husband Pat and their daughter, Robyn; and numerous other loved ones and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral services for Finesse Sauday WARR, an infant, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Shady Grove Baptist Church. Burial is in Oak Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Rowell-Parish Mortuary of Fort Smith. She was born Aug. 28, 2005, in Little Rock, Ark., to Kevin and Fayonna WARR. Graveside services for Marjorie Katherine BARNES, 78, of Corpus Christi, Texas, are being held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Akins Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. BARNES was born Dec. 4, 1926, in Sallisaw, to Hassen SELLS and Edith SHERELL. She died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005, in Corpus Christi. Survivors include three daughters, Dorothy and William, Karen and Britt, and Kathy and John; two sons, Jimmy and Sue, and Eddie and Carole; seven sisters, Jerry, Ginger, Linda, Pat, Marie, Ruth and Sammie; two brothers, Dan and John; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, husband and one son.  

Graveside services for Clarence Richard COWAN, 95, of Muldrow, are being held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the New Hope Cemetery, east of Spiro, with Rev. Joe Murphy officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. COWAN was born Feb. 18, 1910, in Fort Coffee, to James Wilse COWAN and Hattie Ann (MATHIS) COWAN. He died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005, in Sallisaw. He married Violet Marie JONES, Feb. 14, 1932, in Spiro. She preceded him in death, May 28, 2005, in Muldrow Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Callie and Joe, Ann and Joe, and Pearl; one sister, Inez; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Pearl RUTHERFORD, Uella BROWN and Lucille BAXTER and four brothers, Earnest, William, Walter and Wilse COWAN.

Funeral services for Charles D. "Lotes" DUNN, 70, of Tulsa, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the New Dyer Memorial Chapel in Tulsa. Graveside services will be in Sallisaw City Cemetery with Rev. James E. Dunn officiating under the direction of Dyer Memorial Chapel of Tulsa. Mr. DUNN was born Oct. 29, 1934, in Sallisaw, to Cornell DUNN and Mattie (BRYANT) DUNN. He died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005, in Tulsa. Survivors include one son, Charles, Jr.; three sisters, Corrine, Sue Ann and Ella; two brothers, Robert and Rev. James E.; one aunt, Ora Belle; and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and several cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by both parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Ingeborg Maria FORD, 73, of Sallisaw, was born Nov. 14, 1931, in Egar, Czechoslovakia, to Wilhelm HABERKORN and Theresa HOFFMAN. She died Friday, Oct. 21, 2005, in Vian. She married William E. FORD. They were married for 49 years. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Judy Kay and husband Joe; and Karen Lynn and husband Phillip; one son, William Ray and wife Doretha; one brother, Wilhelm; two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Gretl HAINDL.

Funeral services for Pauline GAINES, 97, of Keota, were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Mallory-Martin Chapel in Spiro with Mr. Joe Avery officiating. Burial was in Old Cache Cemetery in Keota, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral home of Spiro. Mrs. GAINES was born May 1, 1908, in Cartersville, to William John and Victoria (MARTINDALE) GAINES. She died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include one brother, Jacob; one niece;three great-nephews.

Cremation for Otis Riley GROVES, 68, of Muldrow, was under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. GROVES was born Oct. 29, 1936, in Tom, to Otis Dillis GROVES and Wilma Ruth (JACKSON) GROVES. He died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005, in Muldrow. He married Treva Joyce MORRISON, July 29, 1972, in Muldrow. Survivors include his wife of the home; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Monica, Cheryl and James, and Melissa and David; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Ritchie and Jane, Randal and Patsy, and Steven; two sisters, Nada and Janie; 14 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. KELLEY was born May 27, 1942, in Hanna, to Leon TUCKER and Wilma Faye (CAPPS) TUCKER LAKEY. She died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005, in Muldrow. She married Edgar Ray KELLEY, Dec. 19, 1958, in Tulsa. Survivors include her husband, Edgar KELLEY of the home; one daughter and companion, Pamela and Chris; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Tami, and Robert and Audra; six, grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Kathy; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Charles L. LEDBETTER, 65, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the God's House of Prayer in Fort Smith. Burial is in the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. Mr. LEDBETTER was born March 1, 1940, in Midland, Ark. He died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005, in Fort Smith. Survivors include his wife, Betty; one daughter, Lisa; two sons, Michael and Jeffery; and five grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Neva (HARLAND) ROSS; three daughters, Joan, Ann and Janet; eight sons, Stanley, Jr., John, Bill, Steve, Don, Earl, Dick and Jerry; 36 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy and Jennie; 12 nephews; and 11 nieces. Burial was in Barnoski Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. UNDERWOOD was born Oct. 31, 1960, in Talihina, to Daniel MEELY and Leah UNDERWOOD. He died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005, in Atlanta, Ga. Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Lois VANN; two daughters, Marissa and Tiana; four sons, Anthony, Cody, Robert and Daniel; two sisters, Janice and Clara; four brothers, Darrell and Alma, Danny and Abraham, Jr. and Brian Shane; mother, Jane Locust; four grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his father Daniel MEELY.

Funeral services for Beverly Ann HELTON, 70, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 3:00 p.m. Friday at the Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith. Burial was in Hartford Memorial Cemetery, in Hartford, Ark., under the direction of Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith. Mrs. HELTON died Thursday, October 27, 2005, in a local hospital. Survivors include two daughters, Jacquie and Cathy; two sons, Richard and Thomas; one brother, Jack; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Jessie SANDERS, 91, of Muldrow, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Bellefonte Baptist Church with Revs. Martin Cochran and Curtis Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Bellefonte Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. SANDERS was born Dec. 4, 1913, in Sequoyah County, to John SILK and Nancy PRITCHETT (BIRD) SILK. She died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2005, in Tahlequah. She married Nelley SANDERS who preceded her in death in 1970. Survivors include three daughters, Wanda, Arla Mae and Ruth; three sons, Donald, Howard and Gerald; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her three brothers, John SILK, Foggie SILK and Thomas HAWK and two sisters, Louanna STITES and Sally HUMMINGBIRD.
