The Baptist Church at Roland met Dec. 10th, 1906

After preaching by Bro. BLAYLOCK, the church set in conference.

Minute of last meeting was read and approved.

Committee appointed to collect funds to pas the debt on church house reported twelve dollars received and on motion report was recd. and committee continued.

By motion, the Deacons were directed to circulate a subscription for Pastor's salary.

On motion, a letter of dismission and recommendation was granted to Sister Viola TAYLOR.

Bro. SUMMERHILL was elected messenger of the church in the associational mission work.

On motion, the church agreed to represent in the General Association of Oklahoma and Indian Territory and send $1.50 for minute fund.

On motion, the church preferred charge against Bro. Harry MANN for disorderly conduct and on further motion withdrew fellowship from him.

Motion unanimously prevailed exonerating Sister Ellie SUMMERHILL from charges publicly alleged against her by Bro. R. MALONEY last summer

After preaching service on 3rd Sunday in January 1907, the church agreed to hold the next conference meeting on Saturday before the 2nd Sunday in Feb. 1907.

Preaching by Bro. BLAYLOCK after which the church set in conference.

Minute of last meeting was read and approved.

Committee reported about one half the amount necessary to pay church house debt collected the report recd. and the committee was continued.

Deacons reported subscription for Pastor's salary not complete.

Bro. BLAYLOCK accepted the churches call to the Pastorate.

Upon motion, the meeting days were changed to the 2nd and 4th Sunday in each month

conference meetings on Sat. before each second Sunday.

The Clerk stated that he had informed Bro. MALONEY of the churches act exonerating Sister Ellie SUMMERHILL from the charges he had publicly alleged against her. Bro. MALONEY was present and complained of the action of the church and asked that a committee be appointed to further investigate the matter but his request was not granted.

On motion, the conference adjourned.

After preaching service, the Pastor gave an opportunity for membership.

Minute of last meeting was then read and approved.

Deacons again reported work for Pastor's salary not complete. Committee of collection for church house debt was again continued.

On motion, the church preferred charge against Bro. R. F. MALONEY for publicly bringing false charges against Sister Ellie SUMMERHILL

Minute of March conference continued and the Moderator was requested to notify Bro. MALONEY of this action of the church.

On motion, charge was preferred against Bro. M. V. GRIGGS for getting drunk and Bros. C. TAFT and J. A. JOHNSON were appointed to see him.

The pastor was requested to write Bro. A. L. JERRIGAN and request him to visit the church as often as convenient and especially to be present at our next meeting. The church hoping to be benefited by his presence and desiring to know more about his gifts and qualifications for ministry also desiring to give him all proper encouragement.

After preaching by Bro. A. L. JERRIGAN, the church in conference transacted the following business.

1st Minute of last meeting was read and approved.

2nd Com. appointed to collect to pay the debt on the church house reported $10.00 unpaid.

where upon that amount was at once contributed by Brethren present and a motion prevailed to discharge the committee when the note is taken up.

Deacons reported $87.50 subscribed for Pastor's salary and the Clerk was instructed to place the subscription upon record.

The Pastor stated that he had not notified Bro. R. F. MALONEY of the charge against him and a motion prevailed giving the Pastor more time to see him.

Committee appointed to see Bro. M. V. GRIGGS reported that Bro. GRIGGS had promised to be present at this meeting but Bro. GRIGGS was not present and the committee was cont. with a request that they obtain an expression from Bro. GRIGGS, if possible.

A motion prevailed granting Bro. A. L. JERRIGAN liberty to exercise his gifts in preaching the Gospel.

Upon motion, Bro. R. V. THOMPSON was elected to the mission work in the boundary of the A. V. Association and the church placed his salary for said work at two dollars per day and Bro. SUMMERHILL was instructed to write to the churches of the association

and inform them of this action of the church and ask them to cooperate with us in the work.

On motion, the conference adjourned.

After preaching by Bro. R. V. THOMPSON, the church set in conference.

Minute of last meeting was read and approved.

Committee on church house debt reported note taken up and the church free from debt.

Bro. R. F. MALONEY declined to withdraw the charge he had made against Sister Ellie SUMMERHILL where upon the church sustained her charge and withdrew her fellowship from him.

Bro. Marvin GEIGGS made acknowledgement, which was received and the church forgave him.

Bro. Blaylock, after song and prayer read scripture session and commented on same after which the church in conference transacted the following business.

Minute of May meeting was read and approved.

On motion, the building committee was instructed to solicit contributions to paint our church house and to have the work done as soon as sufficient funds are received.

A motion prevailed to call the church in conference tomorrow after the preaching service to hear the report of Bro. THOMPSON as missionary of the A. V. A. and top set date for holding protracted meeting.

On motion, adjourned.

The church in conference granted a letter of recommendation to Sister M. G. TUCKER (mn- M. G. EVANS) and at the close of the prayer service at night a contribution for associational missions was made amounting to $15.00
