William Robert "Bob" Keeton

Funeral services will be held at the Westside Pentecostal Holiness Church in Clinton for William Robert "Bob" Keeton on Wednesday, July 2, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Russell Cemetery, Cordell, Oklahoma. Reverend Bobby Stewart will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Kiesau Marler Funeral Home, Clinton, Oklahoma.

Bob was born May 21, 1911 in Cordell, Oklahoma to William Clayton Keeton and Sara Bell Brown. He passed away June 27, 2003 in Morrilton, Arkansas.

He married Martha Opal Coynor on July 31, 1932 in Cordell, Oklahoma. He was a highly decorated Army Veteran of WWII who received numerous medals including the Purple Heart. He worked as a farmer and a truck driver until he retired. He was a charter member of the Westside Pentecostal Holiness Church in Clinton, Oklahoma.

He leaves behind his wife of 71 years, Opal Keeton; six daughters, Nadine and husband, Barney Oldham, Mildred and husband, Tom Gorman, all of Checotah, Oklahoma, Evelyn and husband Floyd Boedecker of Cuero, Texas, Katheryn Sanders and Debbie and husband, Joe Kennemer of Springfield, Arkansas, Gayle and husband, Charles Phillips of Paradise, California; four sons, Eddie and wife, Evelyn Keeton, Dale and wife, Susan Keeton, all of McCloud, Oklahoma, David and wife, Kathy Keeton of Techachpi, California, Don and wife, Onnie Keeton of Springfield, Arkansas. He also leaves behind 36 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren and 5 great- great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild; one brother, Charlie Keeton of Fort Worth, Texas; and one sister, Sally Fryer of Bakersfield, California; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers; Lee, Dave, Mart and Perry and by two children; Roberta Faye Ray and Ronald Dee Keeton.
