Milton Bryant Dailey
Haskell County, Oklahoma

This is my great grandfather Milton Bryant DAILEY. He was born May 1866 in Minnesota. He migrated from Minnesota to Franklin County, Arkansas, around 1870, with his stepfather, Sebastian GRAMLICH. By 1889 he was living near Cache Creek, present day Haskell County, Oklahoma. In 1893 he married Moddie Mae LOVELL, at Bokoshe, Indian Territory. She was born 1879 at Bokoshe, IT. They made their home in Tamaha, Haskell County. They had 12 children between 1894 and 1920, ten survived. Out of the 10 living children, my grandfather, James Dailey, born, 1903, McCurtain, IT, was the only child to stay in Oklahoma. Milton and Moddie Lovell Dailey are buried, in marked graves, at Tamaha Cemetery. James Dailey and his wife Maggie Lawson are buried at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Fort Smith, Arkansas. My father, Milton Dailey, is the second child of James Dailey, he is living at Fort Smith, Arkansas. I am the third and youngest daughter of Milton Dailey. I live in Pocola, LeFlore County, Oklahoma, on the farm that belonged to James Dailey, Sr.
