Red Ball Station
1930's
Elk City, Beckham County, Oklahoma

This picture belongs to my great aunt Nadine (Smith) Drake who now lives in Mesa, AZ.  This establishment was owned by Leon Bowman of Elk City, OK.  This is where she worked as a young girl and when she got her Social Security Card, abt. 1938.  On the back of the pic she has that the name of it was the Rainbow Gardens, but looking at the picture it says Red Ball Station and to the far left it reads Brinkley Bros. Garage on the sign.  Leon Bowman is to the far right in this picture.
