Indian Cemetery LeFlore County, Oklahoma Location: on Calvin Wiles Land, outside of Panama, Oklahoma The SW-1/4 of Section 23, less 1-1/2 acres being that part of said SW-1/4 lying South of Brazil Creek 5 acres being all that part of the N-1/2 NW-1/4 of Section 26, lying North of Brazil Creek; and 142 acres described as the NW-1/4 of Section 24, less 1 acre for cemetery and less a strip 132 feet wide off the south side said NW-1/4 of Section 24, all in Township 8 North, Range 24 East, and containing 305.5 acres more or less. |

existence. Three people are known to have been buried here in graves no longer marked. |

Mississippi, d 1899. Oldest son of Thomas F. Sockey & Francis D. (Issac) Sockey. Ned married Dora James, April 28, 1898. Dora is the daughter of Ben James & Siney Night. Ned & Dora had one son, Edward Sockey b June 12, 1899 d Oct 30, 1973. Edward is buried in Old Bokoshe Cemetery. |
