Turner A. Berry Jr., 80, of Poteau, passed away Friday, Aug. 1, 2003, in Tulsa. He was born April 2, 1923 at Monroe. He was a counselor.

Survivors include four children, Lela Francis Malhum and Turner A Berry III, both of Chickasha, Mary Jane Nelson of Marlow, Gary Don Berry of Broken Bow; two sisters, Betty Jo Earls and Juanita Donathan, both of Poteau; one brother, Cecil C. Berry of McAlester; 24 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; other relative and loved ones; and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9 at the Choctaw Family Investment Center in Poteau with the Rev. Seneca Johnson officiating.
