Sella Delois Boston, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2003. She was born Sept. 1, 1920 to D.J. and Pearl Evelyn Mayo. She spent her entire life in Talihina. She graduated Talihina High School and a longtime member of the Talihina First Baptist Church. She married George Edward Boston in February 1944. She was a homemaker, loving mother and "Grannie." Some of her greatest pleasures were cooking, raising flowers and spending countless hours watching her two favorite sports teams, the Atlanta Braves and the Dallas Cowboys. She attended all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's school, church and sports activities. She was a Golden Tiger fan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four sisters, Flora "Toad" Lawson, Mollie Lewis, Roxie Votaw and Carrie Holland; three brothers, Ernest, D.T. and Maxie; and one son-in-law, William "Bill" Baggett.

Survivors include three daughters, Donna Baggett, Martha and John McLemore, Janet and Paul Lawson; one son, Jimmy Dale "J.D." Boston, all of Talihina; 10 grandchildren, Shannon Coleman, Rebecca "Becky" McLemore, Brax Baggett, Jeremy Lawson, Jabe Lawson and Trenton Boston, all of Talihina; Clint and Kim McLemore of Ardmore, Stephanie McLemore of Fort Smith, Nanci and Matt Judkins of Wilmore, Ky. and Amy and Cory Bruce of Oklahoma City; four great-grandchildren, Rhett Norbury, Kadie McLemore, Clancy Bruce and Emma Judkins; also a special niece, Janella and Bill Morgan; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 30 at the Talihina First Baptist Church with the Revs. Mark Cook and James Ogden officiating. Burial will follow in Old Talihina Cemetery under the direction of Talihina Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and a great-grandson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Carl Cheatham, Dave Reddick, Billy Joe Morgan and Kenneth Ferguson.
