HEAVENER - Jack E. Brewer, 73, of Heavener died Friday, Jan. 14, 2000, in Fort Smith. He retired as postmaster from the post office in Heavener and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce and the American Legion. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the First National Bank of Heavener. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday in Dowden Funeral Home Chapel of Heavener with burial at Memorial Park in Heavener. He is survived by his wife, Lynda; one daughter, Dana Scott of Heavener; one son, Tim of Broken Arrow, Okla.; two sisters, Mary Ann Zimmerman and Betty Hamer, both of Tulsa; three brothers, Oren of Coweta, Okla., Jerry of Broken Arrow and Bill of Bartlesville, Okla.; and one grandson, Jeremy Scott of Norman, Okla. Lynda Brewer, 78, of Heavener, passed away Friday, July
18, 2003, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was a lifetime resident of Heavener
and a member of the Heavener First Baptist Church, the church choir and
the Ladies Mission Group. |
