Seven Mourners Hurt At Funeral
Wagonette Is Turned Over Into Ditch
Oklahomans Injured

Fort Smith, Ark., April 25 (Special) Seven person were injured, several seriously, at Hartford, Ark., this afternoon, when a wagonette loaded with mourners attending the funeral of William DeLaney, a prominent resident of this place, were hurled into a ditch. None of the injured will die. They are:  Mrs. Elliott, Bokoshe, Okla., sister of Mrs. DeLaney, arm broken; Mrs. Smith, Huntington, Ark., sister of Mrs. DeLaney, arm broken; Mrs. M. L. Dutton, Hartford, Ark., back injured; Mrs. Jessie Flankard, daughter of Mrs. Dutton, ankle sprained; Mrs. DeLaney, the widow, back injured; Mrs. Will Hill, of Bokoshe, Okla., gash in forehead; M. L. Dutton, Hartford, back hurt.

As the wagonette in which the mourners were seated, descended a hill and was crossing some railroad tracks, the double-tree broke. The horses did not run away but the vehicle was thrown with terrific force in the ditch. The only occupant of the vehicle who escaped injury was the driver.
