WISTER — A.R. Duncan Jr., 74, of Wister died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2000, in a Poteau health care center. He retired from Johnson Controls after 36 years and was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Ellis Chapel Church of Wister with burial at Maxey Cemetery in Wister under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.

He is survived by three sons, Bob of Wister, Gary of Greenwood and Ronny of Cameron; one sister, Wanda Conners of Heavener; one brother, Hoyt Duncan of Wilburton, Okla.; and five grandchildren, Chris, Derek, Darby, Daylon and Kimberly Duncan.
