Dorothy Elliott Edgar, 88, of Carrollton, Texas, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2003, at Farmers' Branch, Texas. She was born March 22, 1915 at Hot Springs, Ark. She was a homemaker and worked for a number of years as a children's librarian in Arlington, Texas. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Carlos Maese of Carrollton, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jackie Edgar of Eules, Texas; two grandchildren, John and Michael; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 27 at Oakland Cemetery Pavilion in Poteau with the Rev. Jimmy D. Cook officiating under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau. |
