Mamie Lillian Meadors, 99, of Poteau, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 17,
2003. She was born Sept. 4, 1904 in Mena, Ark. to Jim and Nettie (Cranfield)
Cunningham. She was a seamstress for the airlines and of the Protestant
faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert (Bob)
Meadors; one son, Guier Meadors; two brothers, Edgar Cunningham and
Clifford Shupert; two sisters, Nancy Pence and Lucille Christian; and
one great-great-grandson, Ethan Hoffman.
Survivors include two granddaughters, Sandra Thompson and Debbie Powers;
one grandson, Lynn Meadors; one brother, Raymond Shupert; two sisters,
Fern Green and Christine Alexander; five great-grandchildren; four
great-great-grandchildren; and many beloved family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19 at the
Memorial Park Cemetery at Heavener with the Rev. Jeff Little
officiating, under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
