Tommy Lynn Morrison, 53, of Howe, passed away Tuesday, September 30,
2003, in Fort Smith, Ark. He was born Nov. 30, 1949 in Wellington, Texas
to Cirl and Patsy (Pierce) Morrison. He married Tammy Sanders on Jan.
27, 1975 in Howe. He was a maintenance supervisor, a Vietnam veteran and
of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cirl; and one brother, Ezra Lee
Morrison.
Survivors include his wife of the home; his mother, Patsy of Heavener;
five sons, Tommy Morrison Jr. of Seminole, Christopher Morrison of Sand
Springs, Michael Morrison and wife Dalana of Poteau, Justin Morrison and
wife Kenna and John Morrison, all of Howe; three daughters, Angela
Morrison of Stilwell, Jennifer Osborne and husband Michael of Shady
Point and Penny Bollinger and husband Clendon of Howe; two brothers,
Jeffrey Morrison of Heavener and Paul Daniel Morrison of Loving; three
sisters, Shirlene LeFlore of Sundance, Wyo., Linda White of Broken Arrow
and Shelia Kidman of Okmulgee; 11 grandchildren; two
great-grandchildren; and many beloved family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2 at
Grace Manor Funeral Home in Poteau.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3 at the Grace Manor
Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Clyde Hess officiating. Burial will follow
at the Hontubby Cemetery under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home
of Poteau.
