Phillip Dean Stewart, 49, of Spiro, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2003. He was born Aug. 12, 1953 at Spiro to William Star and Wanda Lee (Owens) Stewart. He was a truck driver, and loved working with horses and cattle.

He was preceded in death by his father; and one nephew, John Wesley Rogers.

Survivors include his wife Sharon of the home; one son, Frank William Stewart of the home; three sisters, Wynthina Lovell and husband Steve, Marsha Rogers and husband Carl and Starla Clark, all of Spiro; his mother of Spiro; nieces and nephews, Brent Lovell, Brad Lovell, Ashley Rogers, Jeffery Clark and Michelle Clark.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 6 at the First Assembly of God. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro.

Pallbearers will be Carol Wayne Rogers, Jack Taylor, Roy Cox, Johnny Cox, Rick Nelson and Roy Maddox.
