Charles Blankenship
PANOLA, Okla. - The Rev. Charles "Chuck" Blankenship, 71, of Panola, Okla., died Friday, June 2, 2000, in Panola. He was a retired Baptist minister and retired as supervisor of tourism and recreation of Robbers Cave State Park, Wilburton, Okla.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Red Oak with burial at West Liberty Cemetery in Quinton under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Stigler.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; four sons, Kenneth Mikeal Blankenship of Spiro, Ronald Eugene Blankenship of Quinton, Donald Dwight Blankenship of Lake of the Hill, Ill., and Rickey Wayne Blankenship of Alexandria, La.; two sisters, Hazel "Sally" Armour of Dustin and Neva Blankenship of Henryetta, Okla.; five brothers, Lonnie Blankenship of California, Edmond Tie Blankenship of Henryetta, Arthur Alton Blankenship Jr. of Las Vegas, William Bill Blankenship of Del City, Okla., and Frank Blankenship of Dustin, Okla.; 21 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bradley, Jared, Eric, Justin, Kevin, Bryan, Jordan, Tanner, Hayden and Bryce Blankenship, Nathan Short and Josh Reames.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home in Quinton.
