Betty E. Butler, 94, of Fort Smith died Nov. 10, 2001, in Fort Smith. She was born Nov. 30, 1906, in Hot Springs. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and a lifelong member of Circle II. MaMa Butler was a homemaker and loved gardening and the outdoors. Her spirit was special and she will be nissed by all the people she touched in her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Butler; and three sons, Oliver Butler Jr., Billy Ray Butler and John R. Butler.
She is survived by three grandchildren, Michael Butler of Fort Smith, Cynthia Farrell of Fort Smith and Melissa Hurban of Sparta, N.J.; and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
Viewing will be today from 8 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
