Rowene Imogene Davison, 79, of Poteau, Oklahoma, died Thursday, February 13, 1997, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Funeral was Saturday, February 15, 1997, in Southside Baptist Church in Poteau with burial at
Oakland Cemetery in Poteau.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Odell Davison; eight daughters, Dama Jacqueline Bogle of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Janice Marie Duncan and Patricia Ann Smith of Poteau, Martha Sue Hamilton of McAlester, Oklahoma, Sharon Kay Copeland of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Nancy Louise Rice of Jenks, Oklahoma, Mary Kathryn Baker and Lisa Ellen Conrad of Bixby, Oklahoma; five sons, Jerry Odell of Hodgen, Charles Warren of Pryor, Oklahoma, Garry Joe and Michael Roy of Poteau, James Harold of Del City, Oklahoma; three sisters, Elsie Denton of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Ell Bee Jones of Poteau, Aline Whitmire of Waldron, Arkansas; twenty-five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were her grandsons.

POTEAU — Jack Odell Davison, 90, of Poteau died Saturday, March 18,
2000, in a Poteau hospital. He was a retired coal miner and preceded in
death by his wife, Rowene.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Evans Chapel of Memories in
Poteau with burial at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau under the direction of
Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
He is survived by eight daughters, Dama Jacqueline Bogle of Tulsa,
Okla., Janice Marie Duncan, Patricia Ann Smith and Martha Sue Hamilton,
all of Poteau, Sharon Kay Faulkenberry of Sallisaw, Nancy Louise Rice of
Jenks, Okla., and Mary Kathryn Baker and Lisa Ellen Conrad, both of
Bixby, Okla.; five sons, Jerry Odell Davison of Hodgen, Okla., Charles
Warren Davison of Pryor, Okla., Garry Joe Davison and Michael Roy
Davison, both of Poteau and James Harold Davison of Del City, Okla.;
three sisters, Christine Gilstrap of Poteau, Marie Axelesen of
Albuquerque, N.M. and Cebelle Shermerhorn of Murphy, Calif.; 25
grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
