Martha Kemp, 78, of Stigler, passed away Monday, May 6, 2002, in Spiro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vannie Kemp; one son, Robert Kemp; one grandson, Ronnie Rowe; two brothers, Thomas Brand and Willie Brand; and two sisters, Mary Simpson and Allie Brand.
Survivors include two daughters, Bernice Beyer and husband Doug of Bernice and Joyce Turner and husband Jerry of Bokoshe; one daughter-in-law, Geraldine Kemp of Keota; three sisters, Georgia Speegle of Stigler, Marie Johnson of Porterville, Calif. and Bonnie Hart of Ridgecrest, Calif.; one brother, Louis Brand of McDonough, Ga.; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 9 at Mallory Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Keota Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro.
Pallbearers will be J.D. Phillips, John Phillips, Gary Carver, Jim Lyons, Doyle McElroy and Lary Carver.
