Nathan A. McDaniel, 77, of Fort Smith died Tuesday, May 7, 2002, in Fort Smith. He was a retired architect from Architecture Plus, a member of the American Institute of Architects, a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Deer Trails Golf Club, a Army veteran of World War II and a graduate from University of Arkansas Fayetteville with a bachelor's of architecture degree.
Memorial service will be 10 a.m. today at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel of Fort Smith with private entombment at Woodlawn Mausoleum.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Green McDaniel and daughter, Leah Limmer.
He is survived by his wife, Song McDaniel; a daughter, Martha Kohler and her husband, David of Russellville; a son, Nathan A. McDaniel Jr. and his wife, Cathy of Fort Smith; a stepdaughter, Stephanie Bowman of Fort Smith; a son-in-law, James Limmer of Waco, Texas; a sister, Lavern Burnham of Little Rock; and eight grandchildren.
