Fred Phillips, age 81, of Howe, a farmer, died June 9, 1999, at Sparks Regional Medical Center at Fort Smith, Ark.
He was born Nov. 20, 1917, in Milton.
He is survived by two daughters, Lavell Owens of Fort Smith and Beulah Bright of Spiro; two sons, Fred Phillips, Jr., of Keota and Ralph Phillips of Howe; 20 grandchildren; and, 13 great- grandchildren
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, June 12, at Milton Cemetery in Milton with burial following.
Rev. Walter McKinney will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home, Poteau.
