Leon Ray
Leon Ray, 61, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002. He was born Dec. 28, 1940 in Wister and had lived in Texarkana for many years. He was co-owner of L&L Hunter Power Saw and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include his wife Audrey Ray of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Jackie Ray of Fallon, Nev.; one daughter, Debbie Jordan of Texarkana; three brothers, Cecil Ray, Jerry Ray and Billy Ray, all of Wister; one sister, Ayline Welch of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26 at the Fuqua-Everett Memorial Chapel at Texarkana Funeral Home with the Rev. Harlie Patterson officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27 in the
Ellis Chapel Cemetery in Wister, under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home of Texarkana, Texas.
