Nellie Mae Wann, 84, of Wister, passed away Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, in Poteau. She was born June 23, 1918 at Wister. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wister and a retired teacher.
Survivors include her husband Walker Wann of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Auther Vise of Wister; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Marjorie Wann of Poteau; four grandchildren, David Vise, Denise Collins, Ashlee Wann and Cody Wann; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8 at First Baptist Church of Wister with the Revs. Clyde Steelman and Don Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in
Maxey Cemetery in Wister under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
