Clydie Lovern
MENA - Clydie Opal Lovern, 90, of Mena died Friday, Nov. 9, 2001. She was born July 21, 1911, in Blum, Texas. She was a grocery store owner, a member of local chapter of AARP and Northside Church of Christ, was active with the Sunlight Center and attended classes at Rich Mountain Community College. She was the widow of Herman Theodore Lovern.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday in Beasley-Wood Funeral Home Chapel in Mena with burial at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
She is survived by two sisters, Bertrum Warner of Grover Beach, Calif., and Ruby Berry of DeSota, Texas; a niece, Nancy Sawyer of Fort Worth, Texas; four nephews, Don Berry of DeSota, Texas, Roger and Greg Harnar, both of Fort Worth, Texas, and Steven Harnar of Hot Springs.
The family will visit with friends from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
