Clayton "Tony" Lucas, 86, of Sallisaw died Thursday, June 13, 2002, in Sallisaw. He was born Oct. 6, 1915, in Terlton, Okla. He was a retired command sergeant major from the Army and a veteran of World War II and the Korean War, a farmer and rancher, former manager at LP Gas man for Farmers Coop in Sallisaw, a member of American Legion in Fort Smith, a 32nd degree Mason, a member of Lodge No. 205 in Cleveland, Okla., and a Baptist.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Agent Funeral Home Chapel in Sallisaw with burial and full military honors provided by the Army of Fort Sill, Okla., at Akins Cemetery northeast of Sallisaw.
He is survived by his wife, Pat; two sons, Charles and Jerry Lucas, both of Sallisaw; a sister, Juanita Casey of Hays, Kan.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brandon and Brian D. Slaughter, John Wilson, Cleon Harrell, Frank Arias and John Ross.
The body may be viewed 1 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
