John Treadway Jr.
MCCURTAIN - John G. Treadway Jr., 77, of McCurtain died Thursday, May 30, 2002, in his home. He was educated in Whitefield, served his country in World War II for four years and was a member of McCurtain Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at McCurtain Free Will Baptist Church with burial at Miners Cemetery in McCurtain under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
He is survived by his wife, Opal; three daughters, Carolyn Lovell of Kinta, Betty Chase of Muldrow and Debbie Collins of Lavaca; two sons, Clifford Treadway of McCurtain and Terry Treadway of Spiro; two sisters, Marie Garrett of Stigler and Mary Lee Ary of Norman, Okla.; a brother, Ray Treadway of Stigler; 14 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kendall, Kelly and Jerry Lovell Jr., Michael Myers, Paul Jeffrey, David Falconer and Galen Hampton.
The body may be viewed 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
