Janetta Sue Burlew, 65, of Poteau, OK passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 in Poteau, OK. Sue was born on April 21, 1943 in Poteau, OK to Willie R. “Bill” & Hazel (Crenshaw) Irvin. She was a homemaker. Sue loved spending time with her family & friends.

Sue is survived by her beloved husband, Wade Burlew of the home; a son Jarroll Burlew of Tulsa, OK; a daughter Velvet Lynn Nighting of Grayson, LA; 3 grandchildren’ 2 great grandchildren a brother, Bobby Irvin of Poteau, OK; numerous other relatives & loved ones and many beloved friends.

Funeral services for Sue were held at 10:00 am Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, OK with the Reverend Jimmy D. Cook officiating. Interment followed the services in Oakland Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, OK.
