Carl (Bill) William Smith, 66, of Bokoshe, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2004, in Fort Smith, Ark. He was born Jan. 17, 1938, in Arizona to William Dale and Jennie (Pollack) Smith. He was retired from the Santa Fe Railroad, was a sports fanatic and loved to watch the Bokoshe Tigers, horse races and dog races.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include a host of cousins and friends.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 2 at Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau with the Rev. Leroy Orr officiating. Burial followed in Old Bokoshe Cemetery under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
