Jackie Nell Taylor, 65, of Panama, passed away June 28,
2008 in Panama. She was born April 6, 1943, in Buck Creek. She
was a homemaker and attended the First Assembly of God Church in
Panama.
She was preceded in death by her parents Edgar James and Ruth
Edith (Lloyd) Richardson and brother, Bill Richardson.
She is survived by her husband, Claude Taylor, of the home;
daughters and son-in-law Nena Taylor of Panama and MiShelle and
Kevin Dye of Shady Point; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and
Christi Taylor of Poteau; grandchildren, Katlin Taylor, Lynnsey
Dye, Bryan Dye, Sydney Taylor and Nicholas Roberts; brothers
Buck Richardson of Panama and Don Richardson, of Little Rock,
Ark.; a sister, Myrl Christenberry, of Panama; numerous other
relatives, friends and loved ones.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at the
First Assembly of God Church in Panama with Reverend Brian Smith
and Reverend Bryan Fouts officiating. Interment will be at the
Old Bokoshe Cemetery in
Bokoshe. Pallbearers will be Kendall Morgan, Kenny Morgan Jr.,
David Donathan, Jack Taylor, R.D. Wagley and Dennis Hope.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Bunch, Kenny Morgan Sr. and
Carl Christenberry. Arrangements are under the direction of
Evans and Miller Funeral Home, Poteau. The family will be at the
funeral home Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. to visit with
relatives and friends.
