Douglas Eugene Dalton Sr., 40, of Fort Smith, passed
away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2001. He was born May 24, 1961 in Tulsa.
He was preceded in death by his mother Edan Drennan of
Poteau.
Survivors include his daughter, Amanda Dalton of Fort Smith;
on son, Douglas Dalton Jr. of Fort Smith; two sisters, Sheila
Mitchell and Barbara Walls, both of Spiro; two brothers, Larry
Gatlin of Osceola, Ind. and Tom Gatlin of Washington, D.C.; two
aunts, Lillian Mizell and Francis Akins; five grandchildren; and
many nieces and nephews.
The family will visit with friends and relatives from 6 to 8
p.m. Friday, Dec. 28 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel in Fort Smith.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29 at Fentress
Mortuary Chapel in Fort Smith. Burial will follow at
New Hope Cemetery in
Spiro under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith,
Ark.
Pallbearers will be Johnny England, David Horn, Jason Padgett,
Larry Gatlin and Terry Mitchell.
