Alton Resse Gladden, 70, of Spiro, passed away
Saturday, June 12, 2004. He was born Dec. 19, 1933 at Idabel to
John T. and Rena (Guest) Gladden. He was very fond of the KIBOIS
Association that was a big part of his care. He loved people,
working on his duties and always had a big smile. Alton was his
daddy's buddy for 70 years. He loved everyone.
His mother preceded him in death.
Survivors include two sisters, Louise Peaton and husband
Glenn of Mesa, Ariz. and Sue Kennedy and husband Richard of Fort
Smith, Ark.; one brother, Johnny Gladden and wife Linda of
Ellicott, Colo.; his father of the home; seven nieces and
nephews, Kathy, Judy, Ronnie, Steven, Dennis and wife Denise,
Ricky and wife Beverly, and Chellie; 11 great-nieces and
nephews, Bryan, Brandi, Donovan, Colby, Kylah Chelsie, Chase,
James, Lynna, Kyle and Ashley; and Kris Dickerson, Linda Workman
and Linda Kennedy.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 15
in Fairview Cemetery with
Mr. Bill Ralston officiating, under the direction of the
Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Kennedy, Ricky Kennedy, Frank
Howery, Raymond Rhodes, Bobby Workman and Kenny Dickson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Griffin, Mark Smith, Bud
Cusick, Ronnie Peaton, Steve Peaton, Jim Kennedy, Chase Kennedy,
Donovan Kennedy and Colby Kennedy. ssssss
