Goldie Irene Guin, 87, of Shady Point, passed away Monday, May 10, 2004. She was born Jan. 21, 1917 at Calhoun. She was a homemaker and a member of the Calhoun Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman; one daughter, Norma Lee; and a sister, Rosie Cheely; and her parents, Isaac and Mary (Lantz) Painter.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Fout of Poteau; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 11 in Shady Point Cemetery, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
