George Horton, 69 of Howe, passed away July 12 in Poteau.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby of the home; two daughters, Christine Christmon of Fort Smith, Ark., and Starla Horton of the home; three sons, James Horton and wife Becky of Wister, John Horton and friend Cortney Ollar of Ardmore and Thomas Horton of the home; and one grandson, Nickolas Horton.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 10 a.m. at Dowden Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Loving Cemetery in the Loving community. Dowden Funeral Home, Heavener, is in charge of arrangements
