Billy S. Lee, 69, of Wister,
passed away Thursday, May 13, 2004 at Fort Smith, Ark. He was
born Sept. 10, 1934 at Sardis. He was a retired roofer. He loved
the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He also loved reading.
He was preceded in death by his wife,
Ada Lee Bryan Lee; two sons, Johnny Fanning and Bryan Lee.
Survivors include two daughters and
sons-in-law, Kaye Elmore and Carrol Luman of Wister, and Brenna
and Dail Smith of Flower Mound, Texas; one son, Brent Lee of
Wister; his parents, William and Grace Lee of Oklahoma City; one
sister, Eudene Bonham of Oklahoma City; two granddaughters,
Crystal Elmore and Mandy Goforth; one grandson, Drew Smith; one
great-grandson, Jayce Goforth; one niece, one nephew; one
great-niece; two great-nephews; numerous other relatives and
loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.
Services will be held at 2 p.m.
Saturday, May 15 at the First Baptist Church of Wister with the
Rev. Don Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in
Maxey Cemetery at Wister
under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
Pallbearers will be Clint Harmon, Steve
Bryan, Cecil Ray, Dail Smith, Freddie Harmon, David Donoley and
Glen Midgley.
In lieu of flowers, please make
contributions to the Maxey Cemetery Fund.
