Mary J. Mangrum, 94, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2004,
in Talihina. She was born July 9, 1909 in Harrisburg, Ill. to
Charles and Mary Maize-McNeil. She was of the Baptist faith. She
married Jack Mangrum in 1954. She will be remembered by her
friends always smiling. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother;
and one sister.
She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Tommy
Williams of Poteau, Billy C. and Wynema Williams of McAlester
and Earl and Shirley Williams of Annapolis, Md.; two daughters
and one son-in-law, Lora and James Gray of Florida and Melanie
Powell of Talihina; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren;
numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 5 in
Talihina Cemetery with
the Rev. Tommy Williams officiating, under the direction of
Talihina Funeral Home.
