Juanita Harriett Patterson, 94, of Heavener, passed away Monday, May 3, 2004. She was a longtime resident of the area, a member of First Christian Church, American Legion Auxiliary, National Academy of Social Workers, and Oklahoma Public Employees Association. She was a former school teacher and retired as social worker supervisor for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Patterson.

Survivors include one sister, Cristabel Barlow of Heavener; one nephew, Larry Odom of Heavener, along with other nieces and nephews.

Services will be held t 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 5 at Dowden Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
