Earl
Wilson Renfro, 91, of Arkoma died Thursday, June 24, 2004, in
Fort Smith. He was the last of 12 brothers and sisters. He was
born in Wilson, Okla., but spent his childhood in Jefferson,
Texas. He was the delivery driver for the first load of lumber
to be used in the building of Fort Hood, Texas. He labored later
as a mechanic and then moved his family closer to farming
country to become a farm worker.
He was preceded in death by his wife of
54 years, Reva Mozelle Wilson Renfro, and his daughter, Minnie
Lee King.
He is survived by two daughters, Jo Ruth
Weatherford of Arkoma and Earline Foster and husband, Ray of
Arkoma; and his son-in-law, Leo King of Arkoma. He is also
survived by eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. today at
Woodlawn Memorial Park Chapel with burial at Woodlawn Memorial
Park.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons,
William Weatherford, David Weatherford, Michael King, Bobby
Weatherford, Kevin Foster and Phillip King. Services are under
the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
