Midget Scott, 93, of Heavener, passed away Monday, May
3, 2003, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was a lifelong resident of the
area and was a very active member of the Heavener First Baptist
Church. She retired from the Heavener Public Schools, where she
taught for many years. She is still a member of the Oklahoma
Retired Teachers Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Scott; 11
brothers and sisters.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday,
May 6 at Dowden Funeral Home Chapel.
Survivors include one daughter, Nann McCreary and husband
George of Vinita; one son, Glenn Scott Jr. and wife Janice of
Broken Bow; four grandchildren, Keven Cole and husband Kemp,
Scott McCreary and wife Amanda, Bradley Scott, David Scott and
wife Kimberly; eight great-grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday,
May 6 at Dowden Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 7 at the Heavener
First Baptist Church of Heavener. Burial will follow in
Memorial Park Cemetery at
Heavener under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a worthy
organization.
