Emmie Susie Seeley, 65, of Talihina, passed away
Friday, April 30, 2004. She was born Dec. 26, 1938 in Honobia to
Preston and Carrie Ward-Ludlow. She worked for several years at
the Talihina Manor Nursing Home and was a member of Greenhill
Baptist Church. She married Dallas Seeley on March 24, 1988 in
Mena, Ark. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She
will be missed by many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Ruby; and
a sister, Susie Jacobs.
Survivors include her husband of the home; five sons and
daughters-in-law, Elwood Jr. and Sally Ludlow of Tyler, Texas,
Ernest and Cathy Ludlow of Ada, Donald and Faye Ludlow of
Talihina, Richard and Debbie Ludlow of Daisey and Arvil Keith
and Elizabeth Ludlow of Talihina; two daughters and one
son-in-law, Laverne and Vernon Higinite of Bixby and Cheryl
Ludlow of Checotah; one stepdaughter, Betty Ludlow of McCloud;
15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four sisters and
three brothers-in-law, Anna and Mack Carlile of Talihina, Virrie
Jean and Raymond Johnson of Mesquite, Texas, Pearl and Bill Hope
of Honobia and Lodean Starr of Talihina; four brothers and
sisters-in-law, Preston Jr. and Joann Ludlow of Tulsa, Clarence
and Vivian Ludlow of Lancaster, Texas, James and Debbie Ludlow
of Represa, Calif. and Elvis and Christine Ludlow of Catoosa;
three aunts; two uncles; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and
many friends.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 5 at Greenhill
Baptist Church with the Revs. Artis Potts and Raymond Johnson
officiating. Burial will follow in
New Talihina Cemetery
under the direction of Talihina Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Erik Ludlow, Daniel Ludlow, Ryan Ludlow,
Michael Ludlow, Elvis Ludlow and Jimmy Jacobs.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Ludlow and Ernest Ludlow.
