Dorothy Faye Bevill Wiedower
1932 - 2007On October 1st, 2007, our beloved Dorothy Faye Beville
Wiedower was called home to rest. Dorothy was a kind, caring and
loving woman who touched the lives of many. She was born on
January 15th, 1932, in Panama, OK to loving parents, Jimmy O.
and Edna Hershel Bevill. Her life changed in 1947, when she met
and married Mr. Floyd Wiedower. The couple moved to Muskogee, OK
making it their home. Dorothy was a loving wife and mother. She
was fun and easy going. Her laughter was contagious. She will be
remembered for her compassion for her fellow man and her
positive and nurturing spirit. The family waiting for her at
heaven’s gate are her husband, Floyd Wiedower, Sr. son, Floyd
Wiedower, Jr. and her parents.
The family she leaves behind to cherish their fond memories
of her include her daughters, Lisa F. Wiedower Graves (Juan
Torres), Becky O’Donnell and Diane Wiedower, all of Muskogee,
OK. Special grandson she raised as her own, Bobby Allen Graves,
along with eight other grandchildren. A great-granddaughter whom
she also helped to raise, Angelina O’Donnell along with five
other great-grandchildren. Two sisters Barbara Curtis, Wagoner,
OK and Betty J. Smith, Wilsonville, AR along with several
nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
The service of remembrance will be held on Friday, October
5th, 2007, 10:00 am in the Ragsdale Funeral Center “Ragsdale
of Respect” with Rev. Gary Mitchum, Sr. pastor of New Zion
Baptist Church, serving as officiant. Her final resting place
will be at Fairview Cemetery.
