Jon Eric Peters, 36, of
Sallisaw, passed away Saturday, Aug. 25, 2004. He was born Aug.
18, 1968 at Fort Smith, Ark. to Bill Peters and Florence Estep.
He was a 1986 graduate of Poteau High School and Carl Albert
State College. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and the
outdoors. He was a former factory worker at Arkansas Protein and
Smerf Container and a member of First Christian Church of
Poteau. He married Kimberly Ann Lamb May 3, 1988 at Shady Point.
Survivors include his wife of the home; two daughters, Renee
Peters and Samantha Peters, both of the home; one son, Simon Jon
Peters of the home; his parents, the Rev. Bill and Florence
Peters of Sallisaw; one sister, LaJeanna Thompson of Panama; one
brother, Jack Peters of Muldrow; several nieces, nephews,
cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25
in Shady Point Cemetery with the Rev. Marie Akins officiating,
under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
Pallbearers will be Chad Morgan, Robert Wilson, Dewayne Landrum,
Quinn Thompson, Kendall Thompson, Nathan Zigler, Jerry
Montgomery and Chris Skinner.
