Is now a first class fireman in the U. S. Navy, stationed at Norfolk, Va.

Has received medals for battles in New Hebrides and Guadalcanal.

He is 19 years old and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Martin, 909 N. Ash.

Was graduated from the Guthrie highschool and entered the navy December 17, 1941.

Former employee of the Skelly filling station.
