DeEtte O'ROKE was born in the state of New York, August 8, 1847, and was married to A[braham] KOCH in Iowa at the age of about 19 years and died of heart disease in Orlando, Oklahoma, April 28, 1912, aged 64 years, 8 months and 20 days. She was the mother of 8 children, 4 boys and 4 girls, and leaves a husband, an aged father, her children, 2 sisters and 1 brother to mourn their loss. She was a member of the Christian church at this place, her pastor, Rev. Anthis delivering the funeral sermon at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning, [April 30th], after which her remains were lain to rest in the Bocox Cemetery. She had been a resident of this vicinty for several years and had a host of friends whose sympathy goes out to the grief-stricken relatives, in which the Clipper joins.
