| Edna Lee Spinks, age 87, of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away May 29, 2011 in Guthrie. She was born on November 5, 1923, in Atoka, Oklahoma to Ozie Delaney and Mary (Dingler) Turnbull. Edna married Warren Spinks on November 13, 1946, in Atoka, OK. He preceded her in death in 1992. She lived in Guthrie, Weston, MO, Hillsboro, KS and Davis, OK. Edna was a member of the First Baptist Church, Baptist Women and Quilting Club. Edna is survived by three daughters Sharon Slate and husband Leland of Davis, OK; Lou Greenhaw and husband Steve of Lynden, WA and Alice Clay of Oklahoma City, OK. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and sister Mary Louise Wriston. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, June 1, 20ll, at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel with her son-in-law Steve Greenhaw officiating. Burial will follow at Summit View Cemetery, Guthrie.
