| Jessie Juanita Gooch, 79 was promoted to glory Friday, April 15, 2011. Her laughter and smile will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. She was born August 14, 1931 in Elmore City, graduated Pentecostal Faith High School in May, 1949, and married the love of her life, Jesse M. Gooch on her 18th birthday. She loved working at the NOVA center as a Dietary Manager, then working at Wal-Mart deli before retiring. She loved spending time with her grandson Joshua and her great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Joshua Jr. and Kelsey Ann. She was preceded in death by her parents Georgie and Jess Nunn, husband Jesse Gooch and grandson Nathanial R. Wainscott. Jessie is survived by her daughter Nita L. Wainscott, her brothers: Leon Horton and wife, Floyd Nunn and wife, sister-in-law Louise Mimms, grandson Joshua Wainscott and family, William Lavender and family, many nieces and nephews and a host of other beloved family and friends. Celebration of her life will be Saturday, April 23rd at 3pm at her home in Edmond, Oklahoma. |
