Funeral services for LeRoy HARROD, 81, retired Santa Fe Railroad employee, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Davis-Miller Chapel. Rev. J. Martin Edwards of the nobel Avenue Baptist Church will officiate and burial will be in Summit View Cemetery, directed by Davis-Miller Funeral Home.
Harrod died Friday night at Alverno Heights Hospital. he was born June 11, 1888 in Burden, KS., and was a member of the Noble Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Lula, of the home, 1605 W. Logan; two sons, Roy Dean HARROD, Guthrie, and Harold HARROD, Denver, Colo; three daughters, Mrs. Clifton (Lou Ann) CHANNEL, Guthrie; Mrs. Claude (bee) TULL, and Mrs Guy (Lena) HOWIE, both of Oklahoma City; one stepson, Willard DAY, Oklahoma City; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Luther (Lucille) ENGLISH, Beaumont, Texas; a stepbrother, John WATTS, Guthrie; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. |
