| Luella Joan VanHoutan joined our Savior on Tuesday, May 31, 2011. She was born on July 4, 1928 in Palo Alto County, Iowa. Luella served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Guthrie. She is survived by her son Karl E. VanHoutan and wife Nancy, daughter Karla E. Dietrich; six grandchildren Shonell Conklin, Levi VanHoutan, Seth VanHoutan and wife Krystal, Christopher McIntyre, Kristan Minerd and husband Shawn, and Kelly Barnhill and husband Adam, and six great-grandchildren Benjamin VanHoutan, Trevor Minerd, Brooklyn Doxey, Detroit McIntyre, Emma Barnhill, and Spencer Barnhill. Luella is preceded in death by her husband Karl VanHoutan in 1991. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Robby Robbins officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie. Visitation will be Thursday, 3:00 p.m. — 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:30 a.m. — 5:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Bible Baptist Church, 4820 South Division, Guthrie, OK 73044. |
